Yeah ;; when the babies are just born, if there's no adults near the nest or the baby, they'll get carried off by the bird.
At first, I thought the birds were just things in the BG to annoy you or plain block your screen... until it took off with my baby.

Yeah, they’re really innocuous until they aren’t.
I haven’t played Niche in ages. I should go see what the latest updates have added.

The last time I played was all the way back in April of 2017 (Until recently of course)
( I don't know when the last time you played the game was but if it was before the full release, the UI is different and genes. They're also going to add more new genes soon for tail: Scorpion, Peacock and Fin. )
I'm a newbie here and everything seems so difficult Maybe I just need to find the best tips on how to proceed, but in the meantime everything is so new and I should perhaps spend more hours just reading on stuff but I'm so tired after work that I just want to see some cute creatures and fast ^^'

If you're having a hard time hatching things, you can toss your egg embed codes to either a babysitter (prices ranging from free to a tad pricey), the IFGM (image-free gold mine, I think there's a pinned link to it in one of the subforums), the nursery (has a number of rules but is pinned at the top of the reindeer games subforum), the egg hatching train, or throw them into a click-exchange site like Yarold's

Didn't sleep much. Brain not working today. I challenged myself to hatch an egg without manually setting the progress in the db. First time ever. Who sets these click requirements so high anyways? yeezy
I don't work here anymore but I do still have this egg
