Spoiler
I feel like I have the worst luck with antidepressants and antipsychotics. My body never seems to react well to them or their effects eventually stop working. Ever since starting this new medication, I've been dizzy and feeling like a zombie. I hope these side effects work themselves out soon.
Please help my babies grow C:

I have been making a big effort for these past two weeks in cleaning up my mom's room and throwing away unwanted stuff. She had already done plenty of the work for me many years ago, by giving away majority of her clothing, shoes, and purses. She used to have so so so many of those things. *sighs*

I managed to get her hospital type bed picked up and taken away, and the oxygen machine too. That was hard, but necessary, I'd rather people who can use it have it and so it was returned to the medical company that gave it to us in the first place.

Hubby has been helping me with the clean up and we started counting....One day we threw away around 14 trash bags/and a few pieces of small furniture/junk. Then a couple days ago, we did another clean up and threw away another 13 bags of trash. I took pictures of her room to have as a memory of what it was like before and hopefully I'll be able to take pictures of the new after pictures once we're done fixing up the room.

We basically have three bedrooms, a kitchen area, small living room, and two bathrooms for our apartment, but the real Master bedroom was being used by my mom all this time. Now we suddenly have that extra room and we talked about it and decided to clean up and throw away everything we didn't need, including extremely old furniture that's in bad condition and falling apart. The majority of the apartment isn't painted, so we might paint the rooms to give it much needed color and personality. And I'm thinking about renovating my mom's bathroom because it's 100% disgusting and atrocious and it would be really nice to have a second clean and usable bathroom.

We're thinking of getting some new furniture if we need it, and painting and some redecorating and reorganizing. And hell I still have tons of boxes to unpack from the move from two years ago that I have to pick and choose what I'm keeping/using and what is trash and just try to further minimize because it's something that my family never did and now I have to do it. It's a lot of work and I hope I can make significant progress with it because I just need to get this over with and done.

I’m not good with words or describing feels so I apologize if this is clumsy <3 This sounds really healthy and cleansing for both your environment and your heart. I hope you find it so. :t-hugs:
Spoiler
Thank you, but you sell yourself short, you are very brilliant with words in this forum. And your short reply is 100% correct. This has been the start of a cleansing in my environment and my heart as well. I've been preparing myself mentally for a very long time for my mom's passing, but even with that, it still catches you off guard when the time comes, and it seems I didn't prepare myself mentally enough for the after part because so much has changed in the last three years in my personal life. I'm still in disbelief at how much has changed in my life.

I forgot to mention, I donated around 10 bags worth of medical goods, like diapers, medicines and other such things to an elderly home that one of my former caregivers works at now, so that these items don't go to waste and can be used by people who are in need. And I still need to clean out the last three pieces of furniture. Let's see if I can muster to go do it right now, I really really should.

That's hard and I both sympathize and empathize. I quit mine cold turkey (yes, I know that was stupid) because the ones I were on that I liked no longer seemed to help and the new ones made me feel like that. I'm still here, so it didn't end up devastating for me, though I would never recommend it to anyone. But if you end up feeling like it's making it worse, please go to the doctor or call someone. <3

Now it's spreading up to the base of her ears and on her forehead. She's acting completely fine, but I want to make sure there isn't something wrong. Of course this happens at the same time the other cat is due for her check up and rabies shot (luckily she doesn't have any skin issues going on), so so much for saving a little money this paycheck. :derp:

I really hope they can give me a straight answer on the scabbing. I know it can be a sign of an allergy, but we haven't changed anything recently. She's been on the same food for probably a year now. I am starting to wonder if the food recipe has changed though because when we started her on it her fur turned really soft and healthy looking. Now it has a bit of a greasy feel to it. Our other cat (who eats the canned version of the food) has refused her canned food and has switched to eating the dry food. Before she used to throw a fit when we gave her dry food. :srsly:
Cats are known finicky eaters, so the change on accepting dry food can be a good thing.

The scabs sound like they could be some form of infestation: mites, scabies, whatever. Or fungus like ringworm. Are they allowed outdoors?

33,638g later, I gave each a little boost.
Feel free to click my entire keep. Anything I don't want to grow is protected.

Another near-midnight emergency trip to the vet for one of my gerbils. Can't be sure what it is this time, either a REALLY bad allergy to the new tree leaves I gave them, or a tooth/mouth infection of some sort. He is on pain meds right now but honestly, it's not really looking all that great. He's already a bit older at 3 1/2 years.

Nothing to do now but wait and see if he eats tomorrow, or if he's even well enough to eat. :(

Too bad we just bought a ton of her wet food.

Neither cat goes outside. I’m thinking it isn’t a parasite because the other cat hasn’t had any issues. I just hope it’s something simple and I don’t have to change her food again. She’s already on a pretty expensive food and is so picky and has stomach issues. This cat is so finicky.

Just earned 20,240g from clicking the eggs. I was very careful not to click a single hatchling ^.^
