My friend gave me some belated birthday gifts, and a squeaky dog toy was included in the bunch. I'm so happy she thought of my pups

My one dog is guarding it from my mom's dog right now. If a toy squeaks, she likes it pretty much. Now to see how long it lasts before it undergoes a squeaker removal procedure

Well, Notre Dame is on fire and lost the spire already, fire is suspected to be an accident due to the renovation going on atm.

I just saw the news. I hope they can save the building, or at least as much of it as they can.

Same, is been on fire before from what I've heard so hopefully it can survive this too.

What I'm seeing on the news it is still burning pretty good atm. So sad to see 800 years of history going up in flames.

Yeah is still burning and considering the age of this building there's probably plenty of wood to fuel it, huge flame is still where the spire used to be, NBC have a live YouTube feed for it.

I've heard both good and bad news about Notre Dame, good news is that there appear to be no lost lives and that the arts and artifacts are save. Bad news is Notre Dame might be lost within the next hour. I've been talking to people on various Discord servers and we've all been sharing news.

The "arts and artifacts" can't be safe. The ones small enough to remove that weren't in the vicinity of the fire MAYBE, but the building itself is an architectural work of art. There are murals everywhere and statues and even the stained glass windows...all of it. It is sickening that it's all just burning...

I think they may have it put out now though?
