It's been a hell of a week.

Between the water main leaking, the sudden and unexpected death of a friend, my brother's Final Flight as he retires out of the Army, the ongoing battle to keep weeds off the hill in the backyard that's too steep to stand on....

Finally got into my classroom and was immediately discouraged by the furniture. I know schools don't put a whole lot of care into desks and chairs, but good lord those are the most run down, uncomfortable things I've seen in a long time. I'm putting up a Donors Choose (teacher go fund me basically - its in my signature) for new furniture, I don't expect it to be funded though. No one in my family and friends has money to donate to me.
