I don't know what animal, but I think it would be cute to have whatever it is hatch out of an egg that is an Easter basket.

I agree, we have so many bunnies. 
Here in Australia we sometimes use bilbies instead of rabbits to represent Easter.
Rabbits are an introduced species and considered a pest, so I guess it's like our own native version of a rabbit.
A bilby would be cool to have.
