Ekaira looked at the candy apple she'd just been handed, then at Talyn. "Thank you?" she said, sounding dubious. Considering how many eggs she'd thrown his way since the start of the event, she wasn't sure she wanted to try eating the apple. Maybe she'd just slip it back to him when he wasn't paying attention.

While Talyn had his hands full lobbing eggs at other magi, Ekaira sent one more egg his way. The egg went sailing right past Talyn, heading instead toward an older white-haired magi who had just entered the Atrium. Master Belmos. Drat. At least Ekaira was old enough - well past student age - that she wouldn't be the first suspect. No point in trying to change form. Even if she didn't wind up as a dusk bunny instead of a tenabre fox (an unfortunate side effect of all the dusky potions she'd had thrown at her), she'd just attract more attention. Ekaira stood still, trying (unsuccessfully, she suspected) to look innocent.

The egg Talyn had thrown landing squarely at my head. At least I had the apple that I could also pass to someone else. Time to start throwing some eggs of my own! I tossed one, and laughed. This is pretty fun!

I'm on a bit of a hiatus right now, but I do stop by to pick up eggs every now and then. If you need something from me, please send me a PM! :3

Why there's no one in this thread

Polla waked in, searching for someone with an unhealthy gleam in her eyes. A moment later her gaze stumbled upon someone, a magi she was looking for, and finally stopped inspecting the room.

- Talyn! My fellow magi! My dear adventurous friend! - she said a bit louder, than one shall in this room, slowly realizing that her and Talyn have never actually meet in person. But that was the last thing she was carrying about.

- Right now I should say that I have "an interesting proposal" to fully capture your attention, but I obviously do not have one, so I'll just say what I'm thinking. Shooting stars always bring with them some big events. And stars as noticeable as that one probably will not be satisfied with only changing appearance of some random eggs. I don't want to wait untill something else happens and we lose control over the whole situation.
There are enough people to help Master Belmos save the bears, but someone really should do something about this star, though, no one except me seems to care about it. But I can feel that you, Talyn, may be thinking the same thoughts and maybe will help me to agitate more people to start an expedition. To follow the star, to search for any signs of unnatural things in its trail, to find a possible place of its future collapse and to prevent any possible destruction caused by it.
I mean, the expedition will happen anyway, but I personally thing that it will be better not to lose any time. Better catch up with the star, than travel in hurry to the burning chimney that is doing weird magic stuff with everything around. Areyou with me, Talyn?

Ale-who? Talyn, did you get yourself in some kind of prank again? Don't forget: yesterday was April Fools' day. No need to believe everything merry magi say.

Peeling an egg off her shoulder, Potsy inspects the egg she is about to throw. How exactly did Remmy hard boil a chocolate egg? However, the egg is now shapeless mush from being thrown who-knows-how-many times, and yields no clues. She shrugs and throws it at another random mage near her.
