Ekaira ran a hand through her hair and pulled out yet another small puvia feather, which she let drift to the ground. "I knew I should have gone with Predawn Chill," she said to the room at large. "At least mist stalker hair wouldn't show up quite so well on dark robes." She hadn't dared look in a mirror since tending to her ever-increasing flock of puvia hatchlings earlier that afternoon, but suspected she now looked as though she'd lost a fight with a rainbow.

I walked into the atrium, a book tucked under my arm. The courtyard had been quiet of late, and so I had made it one of my frequent haunts. After the chaos with the breeding competition I needed to escape to some place where I could get my thoughts together. However, that would certainly not happen this visit.
A small group of magi stood conversing with one another. Not wishing to appear rude, I walked up to them. One of the girls swept a colorful feather from her hair and I guessed that she was a member of Team Puvia. She commented about joining mist stalker since their fur wouldn't show up so much on dark robes and I shook my head, "I know, right? Try dealing with Hippocampi hatchlings who splash you 24-7 just for the fun of it."
It had been fun traveling to the beach and tending to my hatchlings, but some of them were downright difficult. Especially Apollo, the instigator of said splashing games.

Viper walked into the Atrium with several anaugi hatchlings hanging onto her shoulders with sharp claws. A pair of young wadjuto hatchlings had a made a nest in her curly, auburn tresses while a viton wrapped itself around her metal armband.. She looked down at the fire kitsune dancing figure eights around her leg. In her gloved hands she held a single large atrox dragon scale settled closely to a dark egg with a tail winding about it. You had the feeling that without the aid of the kitsune the atrox scale would have burned hot enough to cook the alphyn egg.

Ekaira nodded. "That would be worse. I'm just leaving feathers wherever I go. I think I have enough saved to make a couple more puvia by now. Any ideas for what I can do with them?" She brushed yet another puvia feather off her dark robes. "They don't exactly go with anything I own."

Activity was picking up, as it usually did when there was some sort of major event going on. Ekaira glanced over at one new arrival, then did a double-take. The magi had enough creatures on or around her that Ekaira wasn't sure how she could walk. Judging by the creatures, she probably specialized in fire magic, so maybe she needed her living blanket to keep off the chill.

Beck walked to the Atrium, with his Golden Crystalwing hatchling following him. He was looking around to see what happens. Though, he was still remembering the previous event, and his team as a member of the Puvia team. He sit on a bench, looking around. The crystalwing sat on his knees.

OOC: Because I really wish this thread would get a lot more attention...

IC: I entered the Atrium, sat down, and stretched my legs out front of me. Frowning, I leaned down to get a closer look at something brown and sticky on my tunic. I thought I had changed into a clean one, but something must have happened on the way over.

I scratched at the splotch, but only managed to spread it deeper into the fibers of the cloth. With a sigh, I picked up my mug and took a swig of Remy's brew. With all the chaos going on I really did long for something a little stronger. Though heaven forbid what it would do to the already raging food fight.

It almost felt safe here. What few Magi were gathered were content to talk peacably in a corner, the walls were free of egg splotches, and the atmosphere was a warm one. However, something still wasn't quite right. I felt watched, followed even.

Something rustled to my left and I jumped a little. Out emerged a sleek black cat which stalked up to me and wound himself around my ankles with a pur. His split-tail ticked gracefully from side to side and he glanced up at me with intellegent green eyes. The urge to pick him up and stroke him was almost irresistible, but I had been hissed at and bitten too many times to fall for that trick. Still, even Tessel seemed unusually amiable wothout all the chaos of rotten eggs and sticky apples flying around.

Alright, found a quiet place for now...but I have a whole bunch of eggs saved up if anyone starts anything!

My room is now also infested with spiders and little deers. Deer? Whatever. They're everywhere! I never imagined coming back from my travels to this much cleaning!

I slipped into the Atrium, carefully dodging an egg. This was the first time I had been here, and I watched in horror as the food fight continued in full force. "What a disaster..." I muttered to myself. I moved to an isolated corner, watching someone else next a cat.

I pressed my hand to one of the eggs in my own pocket, wondering what it will turn out to be. Being rather new here, I wasn't familiar with all the species yet. I should have brought one of my books to study.

I'm on a bit of a hiatus right now, but I do stop by to pick up eggs every now and then. If you need something from me, please send me a PM! :3

I think I've got the cleaning under control, Leorobin, I just gotta round up all the deer. I hope they grow up to be cute, and not weird like the spiders.

Hi Levantou! Its not so much of a disaster. Throwing all these eggs is fun! I think it might have something to do with all the deer and spiders everywhere though...
