Actually I believe it is called the Penguicorn (spelling?) as the creature is majority penguin (as seen in Munin's avatar).



If I remember correctly they are supposed to be incredibly fierce. I can't find the comments about them though, I think the thread mentions of them have been moved out of the public eye.

5 Headed Elemental Dragon?

I could kind of see it... One head being Fire, another Water, then perhaps Lightning, last two being light and darkness?
Or could go a more 'earthly' way and have Earth, Water, Fire, Wind, and... Heart! Go Planet!
(If anyone got that reference, you had an awesome childhood.)

Yeah, the creature was thought up when Morg was still a mod.
Basicly the story we where told was that pengicorns where due to their fierce nature to dangerous to keep in the keep. Only two ever where able to tame one.
Thane was the first and he trained Morgaln as only other how to controle a creature like that.

Morg also remarked that no student in the keep was allowed to hatch a pengicorn due to an incident with a student and an young pengicorn. Something they never went into detail about.


The Thiamat in the pic is of the old serie Dungeons & Dragons.
But it has been in several legends and lore.

Wow, Id never heard the story of the pengicorn before.

Although technically, there's almost 500 critters, many of those you can't get anymore (unless you buy or trade with others), so it's not a number that are running around the stream. What is the number of non-retired, breedable (not donis) that are really available?
