Creature Side Image Arts!

Found this while exploring the forums. Though it is like an extra to have side-art they really are beautiful, and in my opinion is very nice as a more in-depth picture of the creature than their pixeled selves. I do love the pixel art though! One weird thing though to me is how completely random each side art is. It isn't restricted to only say stream, shop, holiday or donis, but is spread across and seemingly random as to how each creature is picked for side-art.

I believe it is solely based on what Glasswalker is inspired to do. Thus the randomness.

My favourite is still the pearl wyrms, they have been since I started MS. But the others are amazing too, I haven't even seen some of these untill now.

Not to encourage a zombie thread, but this has been on my mind as well. If there's no new creature sideart, is it something that will be worked on again in the future?

I didn't mean to reraise this thread, but it's the only one with the side arts....

Bad news....just noticed that the wikispaces wiki with all the site information shut down....=( which means all that info is lost....unless we have a backup somewhere.

Back on topic....I was genuinely asking if there has been more sideart additions because I've been gone for awhile so I've been finding new things and was wondering. I know there's a lot of creatures on the site and I don't expect sideart for all of them....but would be cool to have some new ones since it's been four years or longer? don't really remember....

Will we ever get completely new art of some other creatures? Maybe not all but the community could do a vote on what ones to add art to. Its always so cool to see a more real version of our favorite creatures, like Raiju's, Spectral Wolves, and Armenatums just as example because I love those creatures.

Agreed, i'd love to see emperor phoenixes in more detail. I know Glasswalker has vanished but i'm sure another artist could do something nice enough to come close to her quality of sideart.

YES! I would totally be willing but I'm not nearly as good as Glasswalker yet Her interpretations are so realistic! My best art atm is actually a picture of a Tzunan Mouse, and its nothing compared to Glasswalker.
