This. Also...aren't Amphistas more or less double headed lindworms? We don't really have a hydra though, that WOULD be nice. I would get a pair of both the 3 shard and 5 shard in all likeliness (either ape or hydra). I suspect a hydra will be the october DP though. Call it a hunch, but I see it being rendered similarly to the cerberus.

I would love a hydra.
I'm just hoping for something I'll actually like in August so I can buy it on my birthday.

They should have a Kuras Dragon since Dragons are traditionally the opposite to the Tiger. Similar to what they did with the Temple Dog being a opposite to the Temple Cat.
Although, that would be more awesome for a 2-shard.

The Kuras Tiger was released because it was the Year of the Metal Tiger. The Karadis Dragon was released because it is the Year of the Water Dragon.

Half the people always want a wolf or a cat, it seems. Or a horse. Not that I'm complaining or anything, but where's your sense of Adventure? Romance?! Exploration! *cough* ahem, actually, I'm actually fine with a wolf myself...so long as it is sufficiently bizzare/exotic/overtly mythology based (ex: Raiju, cerubi-the later happens to be my favorite creature on MS). However, we already had a fairly recent cat release-several of them, in fact-as donis, too (atraetum, spinetails). I'm rather partial to that sort of thing. My personal preferences, though, are spiders (I know it probably won't happen, but if it did...still want a tarantula stream release), mythical beasts, and primates (great apes in specific), not in any particular order. A hydra *would* be nice, but somehow I see that ending up as a halloween release, though earlier would be much appreciated. The first Heroes of Might and magic had a nice hydra design IMO:
