Re: Yarolds Welcome Magistream!!
For Western US (and especially Hawaii) there's been some DNS issues with Yarold's for the past week or so - ever since Time Warner Cable and Charter Communication announced their merger.
I will note that I've tried to ping other European websites with some DNS issues as well.
There might be a EU backbone or DNS server having latency issues that is hurting connectivity that way.
I posted to the Yarold's support forum, perhaps they can research from their end.
As of right now, I am able to connect and updated links & clickied like a mad hen after worms. I've lost so many credits is scary... so Yarold's itself is not down. The issue is for a lot of us connecting to them.

Re: Yarolds Welcome Magistream!!
the server is located in france and france is dealing with a major flood. It might explain the dns issues we've been having.
I wouldn't do that if I were you. One you can't tell if you've closed a human awareness test. Two some people won't be getting the full benefit of your click if you x their link out before even getting to them.Zoa wrote:If you use Chrome, you can R-click on a tab and close all other tabs or all tabs to the right of the tab you are R-clicking on. I use this instead of scripts - just a couple clickies.
I've pmed you.Michyhai wrote:Im new to this how does this work?

I've not been using Yarolds for ages but iirc there's an apostrophe to indicate links that might give a human awareness test. If using Linkclumps I just clicked around those. Easy peasy.bluebellrose wrote:the server is located in france and france is dealing with a major flood. It might explain the dns issues we've been having.

You can also just turn CARE off in your settings so any links that require extra actions will not be shown.FrauFyrebird wrote:I've not been using Yarolds for ages but iirc there's an apostrophe to indicate links that might give a human awareness test. I hope things are well in light of the flooding, that hadn't crossed my mind. I'm still unable to connect with twenty links listed. I'll run out of credits in a week or so.
I click every creature I see in a signature!

Re: Yarolds Welcome Magistream!!
Can someone please explain to me how Yarolds works? I read the explanation on the site but didn't get much of it. Is the idea to click eggs in order to get your own eggs clicked?
Edit: It says I have received 104 clicks today but I haven't?

Re: Yarolds Welcome Magistream!!
For the last several days I've had a small issue with Yarold's. I use Snap Links and grab all 250 links on the Main Exchange page. I only click non-action links. Usually links 'gray out' once their page opens and when I refresh the page for a new set of 250 links, the new links come up with all the various colors.
However, lately the pages aren't refreshing properly. New links come up but they are mixed in with grayed out links that have already been clicked. What's the problem? Is it all the extra activity due to the Anniversery Competition or some other glitch?

I am in the process of moving house, so I will not be around much for the foreseeable future.

That happened to me last night for the first time, but it was on the 'you clicked' page. Other pages didn't give me problems. I figured the links didn't fully load, as my connection is slow.CinnaminDraconna wrote:For the last several days I've had a small issue with Yarold's. It's fine for me now.
