Just joined up a week or so ago, and it's been so much easier to hatch eggs quickly now! My only real problem has been accidentally leaving links on overnight and losing points for hatchlings that have already become adults xD

Try putting out your profile link instead then when you go off for the evening. That way you're leaving out a link.

I always put a limit of ~150 clicks on all my links (you need to turn advanced options on to do this) when I enter them - that is enough to hatch everything from egg and so un-egglock you, and also get a decent way towards adult, but means that the links will stop showing up and stop draining clicks even if I forget to remove them or leave them in over night. I've stuck eggs in just before going to bed and woken up with only a few hundred credits less, all of which went to my growing creatures. If you want to get to adult then just up the number and even if you lose a few credits on already grown adults, you won't get such a drain of credits as you would leaving links open all night.

I know the links still show in history without VIP. But showing only in history is much less draining than showing in the main and dynasty (though the effect is decreased with the large amount of magistream traffic at the moment).
Showing as hidden in the dynasty doesn't bother me. I usually more or less balance my dynasty clicks, so I'm not to change how I use it.

Since you are a VIP the link limits will work for you Simply in the "Limit" column type the number of clicks you want a link to receive and once that number has been reached the link will no longer be able to be clicked by anyone.

The difference between timer and daily is Daily means your link will only reset once a day. Timer means the site will take care of when the link resets. Magistream links can be clicked once every 4 hours on yarolds due to how fast they can be hatched, so you would want it set to timer otherwise your ms link can only be clicked once a day. The AT number (0-23) Is for links set to daily only and will not at all effect timer links. The number signifies when you want your daily link to reset, so if it's set to 6 at 6:00 every day your link will be able to be clicked again.

I never paid attention to that stuff before, I would just post MS links when I could sit and watch them grow. Now I can pop them in overnight.

Awesome site, (I just joined as Sour but anyway) how do you turn CARE off? It keeps bugging me. (Especially the turret one, which I find disturbing) Do you have to be a VIP to do this?

And then what does <limit> mean? I keep seeing it at the end all the way down.

You don't have to be a VIP to turn care off. To turn it off, go into your profile, Account tab, and set the "All links and HAT" drop down menu to "no"
