"Thank you, Mister Karzarill." Vocalia replied, timidly smiling while Ogami's middle head grunted with an indignant scoff at the Black Ice Dragon pair. His left head proceeded to playfully bite the Magi's rear while the right head sneaked his tongue into her pocket to retrieve meat snacks she had made. "Ah, hey! Cut that out!" Vocalia scolded in embarrassment while the Soulflame's three heads made out what sounded like a gleeful chuckle as he ate the snacks. "Yes... Ogami can be... quite a handful, as you can see." She spoke, her face now blushing. "Agito, on the other hand, seems rather placid. He likes to go around and meet new people. I suppose it's more common among Hellflames." As she spoke, the Hellflame Cerberus sniffed the male Black Ice Dragon's paw before licking it, proving that he was less aggressive and friendlier than his Soulflame brother. Yumei followed Casira and meowed to the female mate of the dragon, rubbing her body against her claw. Not wanting to be left out, Pintia and Argene went over to the dragon pair, the Pinto Pegasus neighing and jumping around happily while Argene flew up to the male's snout and rubbing herself against it.

Vocalia turned her focus when he mentioned about an angry Bone Dragon. "A Bone Dragon's fire is notorious for its scorching power... This could be dangerous..." She mused. "Pardon me, but is this Bone Dragon always in a foul mood?" The Magi worriedly asked.

"Yes I'm afraid she's always in a foul mood due to her previous owners neglect. If I don't find her she'll start feeding on the surroundings." He said worried. "You see, he used to experiment on her, but one day something went wrong and she broke free, killed him and went on a rampage. If I haven't taken her back to my keep she would have been destroyed. Her previous owner got careless and she'll pay the price for that." Karzarill sighted, he needed to find that dragon before someone got hurt or worse.

"Is a little embarrassing to ask but you think you can help me look Miss Vocalia? I need to find her before someone gets hurt or killed." The big man asked clearly uncomfortable about asking. "If you could ride on your Pegasus and help search from the air I would be very grateful."

Karzarill then picked up the two Tundra Tylluan hatchlings and placed them at the female dragon's feet "Okay girl can you look after these two and Casira while I look for the bone dragon?" She grunted understanding that finding the missing bone dragon was important. Karzarill then mounted the male dragon and prepared for the search. "If something happens it'll be on my head."

Vocalia was more than happy to help the man with his missing and dangerous Bone Dragon. Hoping onto Pintia's back, she looked back at Kairi and gave her a quick parting nod. "Ogami, return to my Keep. Ask the Phoenixes and Hellhounds to help search around for the Bone Dragon. If you see her, do not engage her." The Soulflame nodded and ran off to the distance as fast as he could. "Agito, can you stay here and help keep an eye on everyone in case things got worse?" She asked the Hellflame, the latter nodding with a grunt and pawed the ground, standing watch beside the female Black Ice Dragons. With the Cerberus sorted out, Vocalia turned to her rambunctious Winged Cats who were smart enough to know the danger of the situation. "Argene, make sure all of you stay close to Agito and the black dragon." Said black cat meowed and the Winged Cat Brigade formed a cloud of black-and-white fur all around the female dragon.

"It's nice to meet you, Miss Kairi. Perhaps I'll see you again." With a polite smile, Vocalia patted Pintia's back and the Pinto Pegasus flew off in search of the ferocious Bone Dragon.

Neera sighed in boredom. She was exhausted from only getting two hours of sleep, and, despite her trying her best, her koi eggs just were not hatching. She thunked her head down on her desk.

"Thank you miss Vocalia, if you see her give some sort of signal if you can." Karzarill said gratefully.

The dragon then started walking away from the others so he could have room for his take off. Due to his size he needed a long start before he would be able to take to the sky. When he'd made sure no one would get in the way he started running at full speed before launching himself into the air. Casira, the Tylluan ckicks and the female dragon watched as Karzarill and the dragon took to the sky.

The two Tundra Tylluan chicks then decided that it would be a good idea to use the Black Ice Dragon as part of their fly training. They climbed up on her back and continued towards her head, the dragon grunted not happy about the fact that she was going to be used as a stepping stone. But she refrained from shaking her head since she knew the chicks were unable to hang on to her if she shook her head.

Casira, being as curious as always decided to check out Agito the Hellflame Cerberus, she sniffed his paws occasionally looking up at the three heads.

(Hello...Hmm, I used Kestrad's form, simply 'cause I
like it better. Yeah, I'm detail-oriented/OCD...hope
you don't mind.)

Full Name:
Lady Kiysa Aiedail Silverwood

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Species: Human

Goes by: Lady Ki

--Appearance--
Spoiler
Image
Height: 5'10

Weight: 145

Build: Ki has a slim, lean figure that makes the eyes
of both men and woman follow her. She usually stands out
in a crowd, being extremely tall and also very graceful. She
has a light frame, but despite that, is very strong and muscular,
having hardly any fat.

Skin: Lady Ki has light skin that is oftentimes more
tan from being in the sunlight.

Hair: Ki has long, red-brown hair, waist-length, that she
really loves. She usually has it down, in a braid, or in a ponytail
if she's working. Only for special occasions will she put it up.

Eyes: Ki has lovely green eyes that are flecked
with shiny gold throughout. Sometimes, in the colder
weather, they will take on a bright to pale shade of blue,
though the gold specks will stay, making for a quite
stunning color.

Face: Ki has very cat-like features. This means that her
whole face is more angular and feline in shape than normal.
Her jaw is sharp, though not so much as to look unattractive,
and her eyes and brows are angular and cat-like as well. Bringing
together her slim face and delicate features, this gives her a
quite an exotic, yet extremely beautiful look.

Voice: Ki has a very gentle voice, soft and soothing.
She also has an bit of an accent, which makes her voice sound
musical and flowing. Her laughter, and she laughs often, is
contagious and filled with joy. When she gets angry, however,
her voice can take on a bit more of a startling harsh tone.

Other important/identifying features: She has one small
scar along the inside of her forearm, put there in a fight she does
not wish to remember.

Clothing: Ki hardly ever wears a dress, unless for formal occasions,
and will instead wear light pants, a loose shirt, and a long cloak, the cloak
being clasped with an oakleaf shaped pin at her throat. She will sometimes
wear a skirt if she must, although that hinders her more than she would like.
Around her waist is a belt, and attached to that is a double scabbard
arrangement, one sheath on top of the other. The first holds a fine dagger,
inlaid with gold and silver, but no less deadly for its beauty. The second
holds a smaller, more plainly decorated, and perhaps even more fatal throwing
knife. A small golden band circles her arm, twisting and circling beautifully.
On her head lays a lovely headpiece that keeps back her long hair and hold
it in place.

--Personality--
General overview: Ki is tomboyish and strong-willed, but with a
loving personality that surfaces when she makes a friend. She loves animals
and alone-time in the forest, exploring everything she can. She enjoys
her weapons practice on the field, and also training her younger creatures.
She doesn't like being the center of attention in a crowd, although she
often draws it because of her height, and also because of her beauty. She
loves spending time with her brother and working magic, and fears being
betrayed by someone she trusts. If Ki is angry, her judgement might be
clouded, and she might make bad choices, only to regret them later, and
is very proud to add to it.

Loves: Ki absolutely adores all animals, but especially her
creatures. She also loves water and swimming, and the forest, into
which she wanders often to be alone. She enjoys working all types
of magic, and is skilled in all of them as well. She also spends much
time riding her young Tereva Enox and training her properly. She
loves spending time with all of her creatures, being as a mother to
them, and deeply enjoys practicing with her weapons on the field.

Hates/Fears: Ki will anger easily at anyone unjust or treating
someone wrongly or cruelly. She is not afraid of many things, as she
believes in standing up to and overcoming fears, but she does shy at
some things. One of her worst fears is being betrayed again by someone
she loves; thus, she doesn't trust anyone easily.

Strengths: Ki is strong in most forms of magic, and, being much of a tomboy,
will try anything, and can usually do it. She stands up to those who get on her bad
side, and will never be cowed or herded into submission. She is not afraid to fight for
what she loves. On the other hand, she is very wise, beyond her years, and she
knows when it is better to be brave, or when it is better to be wise and stay away from
danger. She is fast and agile, a bit more so than others, and magic flows through her
blood, though she hardly ever has to use it. Her hard gaze and expressions are usually
enough to discourage anyone from a fight.

Weaknesses: Although Ki likes to think that she is more strong than weak,
she does have several soft points in her. If she does get past her doubt and make
a friend, she will do anything for them, even die. Unfortunately, she can sometimes
let her anger or other feeling cloud her judgement, and make wrong decisions, or
right decisions for the wrong reasons. She can be vain sometimes, although that is
a trait she is well aware of and she is trying to overcome it. She is proud, though, and
is prone to get herself into trouble, biting off more than she can chew.

Personality in one word: Strong-willed

Quirks: Ki likes to go off on her own, maybe with one or two of
her creatures with her. She feels very out-of-place in a crowd, perhaps
going so far as to say that she hates being the center of attention. She
likes to stay out of the way and watch. She also enjoys flying for long
periods of time with her Tereva Enox. She has a habit of scanning a room
or area she enters for any dangers that may lurk. When she is angry or
senses anything out of place, she'll drop her hand to the hilt of her fighting
dagger, so watch out for that. She also collects small things that her
creatures find and bring to her.

Anything else: None

--History/Background--
Family/Friends:
Her father died when she was young, but her mother and
brother still live a ways away, in Synara City. She visits them
sometimes, but rarely; more often, her younger brother will
come on holidays to see her, and she enjoys showing him
around the Keep and introducing her creatures to him. As for
friends, well, she doesn't have many yet, but she's eager to
make some.

Backstory: Lady Ki was born in Synara City to a loving
father and mother. Her brother was born seven years later.
She had a mostly normal childhood, until, when she was ten
and her brother three, Ki's father died in an 'accident', which
was really a betrayal cloaked in lies. Shortly after, Ki was sent to
train as a Magi at the Keep.

--Combat--
Fighting Style: Ki fights well with a straight-bladed sword,
both on the ground and atop her Tereva Enox. She is expert with
a longbow and average with many other types of weapons. She
also fights with magic.

Weapons/Gear: A sword, its blade and sheath colored an
iridescent wine-red, and a longbow made of yew wood and inlaid
with silver in patterns of leaves and vines. Along with the bow she
has a decorated leather quiver filled with twenty-four arrows,
fletched with swan feathers.

Element: Fire

Special Abilities: Speed and agility (3), magics (4),
communication with animals (1), telepathic ability (2).

Physical Attributes: Ki is fast, but light- she can take blows
pretty well, but because of her light frame, a large blow would
hurt her badly.

--Last Words--
List the three most important things about your character: Ki is strong-hearted,
strong-willed, and has one heck of a temper when it's roused.

A young girl, about 14, walks calmly in, rubbing sleep from her eyes. Riding on her shoulder is a black winged feline, and several eggs rest in the basket on her arm, alongside a scroll and a few books. Clutched in her free hand is a covered glass of what appears to be tea. "Ugh, I really don't think this will end up well. I only got three hours of sleep last night. Also, I am never, ever going to encourage Todessa to get any of the drinks at Remy's ever again. That was a frightening experience."

Bernard rubbed his eyes and stared at the text below him. The small looping letters swam in his vision, and he read the same sentence for the third time- "thermodynamics in magic follows a different pattern than is oft noticed in normal physics-"

Chirp.

Bernard looked up at the sound. "What the hell was that?" he said the to the empty alcove. Not many students came to this part of the library, where the drier texts could be found. Not that his research was dry, of course-it was interesting, really! He had just been doing it for too long, and-

Chirp.

The small chirp halted his disorganized thoughts. Damn he was tired. His mind always ran away from him when he needed sleep.

Chirrupchirrupchirrupchirrupchirrupchirrupchirrupchirrup

Ok, that was the most high pitched cricket noise he had ever heard. The sound echoed in the tiny alcove, and Bernard ducked under the table, then looked at the walls.

Aha. A tiny cricket sat in the corner, and Bernard flared his magelight brighter. The light flickered through the pale cricket, glowing as it would on glass.

It took his tired brain a moment. A new creature. "How long have you little guys been around?" He peered at the cricket, then back at his book. The cricket chirped again, hopping away toward the main section of the library.

Bernard blinked slowly. "Ok, that's it. Time for a break." And time to get a little glass cricket of his own.

Neera lowered herself onto the grass in the near Lakira Lake with a sigh. Along with her, she'd dragged the meridian capricorn egg that she knew would hatch soon. She gently ran a finger over the tiny horns, a soft smile touching her face.

Bernard walked through the halls of the keep, his pegasi behind him. It was a bright day-perfect for flying and avoiding his studies.

As he passed people, he began to slow down, noting a strange new mark on their robes. He jumped in surprise when someone walked past with a koala that had leaves sprouting from its fur, the mage chattering to her friend about a new guild for herbalists.

He sighed. Another new club. First the Dark Brotherhood, which still wanted 10k from him, then the trident marks everywhere, and now this. He wondered how expensive it was.

He checked in his pockets, and sighed again when a glasshopper jumped out. Maybe one day he would find a club he believed in enough to join-that is, when he got enough gold for it.
