This. I'm having a hard time with many veggies, but I've told myself that I would get better and learn how to eat things that aren't allergic to me but which I simply don't like. It takes time, although I'm still not sure whether I'll be able to swallow boiled leafy vegetables at any point. For harder vegetables, if I dislike their taste/general texture, I can still swallow them, but boiled leafy? No.Rainwater wrote:One reason (of many) I've heard is the taste and texture. Some just don't like it. I can respect that, but I'd ask they respect the fact that the taste and texture of some vegetables can set off my gag reflex. I am trying to retrain my brain when it comes to veggies, but it takes time.Tekla wrote:
For the record, I've never understood vegetarianism and even less veganism. We were meant to be omnivores...I respect people's choices of food habits but I just don't get understand some of them
Oh boy, first day of a certain... attempt. Let's hope this goes somewhat well.
