I don't know why the fuck I try so hard to be accepted when it's obvious no one wants to be friends with me. I don't know why I even try to live anymore. I should just cut my throat and be done with it all.

I'm so fucking pathetic.

Good to hear!

Does this mean I won't have to wait long to see stuff from you? :P
I hope so. ;w;

Today, I had to get up early, and since one of our cats died last night, I didn't get much sleep, so I've been semi-comatose after coming home in the afternoon.

But yeah, I hope I'll do some srs stuff tomorrow. And if the weather it's good, I'll go outside with the spiffy new hardcover sketchbook.

And most of them won't babysit past certain hours. You shouldn't have to sacrifice going and enjoying things just because you can't find someone to watch your child. Provided that your child is quiet, I don't see a problem in taking them to the movies. And not all babies react to loud noises. Like I said, my friend took her child to see The Avengers on opening night and she slept right through it with no problems.

It's just a matter of knowing your child. If you know your child is fussy and won't behave during the movie, then don't take them. Doesn't matter what age the child is; 4 months or 40 years old.
Because, if you can't get someone to watch your kid, you shouldn't go out to see a movie like this. At least not a movie that is about 3 hours long and at midnight that's sold out.

But really, I don't care if parents take their babies out to see PG-13 films, but during the day when there isn't a load of people in there. Even if your kid is a quietest, most well behaved kid around, all it could take is one noise to startle the baby. My Nephew sat through Pirates of the Caribbean, but freaked out during Harry Potter.

Yeah. No one knows me. I wonder how the people I speak to on a regular basis tolerate me. And no matter how much I tell them to just block and ignore me, they won't. Wtf.

Not sure where you live (and it doesn't matter) but that is beyond stupid to pay that much for a babysitter. Ever thought of asking relatives to watch a child if you want to go to the movies?

And I don't see a problem with taking a child - not an infant to a movie. But the infant that "doesn't react to noise" could very well react to the sounds in a movie theater...since the sound is much louder in the theater.

As for you saying a child wouldn't remember what happened if they were in that Colorado theater last night - don't be so sure of that - things that happen to or around infants does imprint itself on them. Have seen it happen to a friend's child who witnessed something no adult should have - let alone a small infant. T_T

's alright, I'm kinda glad that the suffering finally ended.
My parents had it harder, since they were home when she died, apparently having collapsed while on the way to the litter box. :T

If you're wondering about the cause (spoilered for gross)
Spoiler
She had breast cancer, which tends to metastasise to the lungs and is very aggressive in cats. My father (whose cat she "officially" was) couldn't bring himself to have her put down and forbid mother and/or me to to do it, so in the past few months I had the, uh, opportunity to watch the progression of the illness. She lost weight and, as predicted, the tumour eventually broke the skin. The last time I saw it (a few days ago), it was this huge, glistening bulge covering most of her chest. She had her breathing affected for months now, and in the last few days even when sleeping her chest was moving with the force you might expect to observe only under severe physical stress. Also, lately she had neglected washing herself, so there was an ever increasing amount of dandruff in her coat, and it felt really greasy.

What I mostly feel sorry about is that it couldn't have been ended sooner, and I kinda miss her how she was while still healthy. :T
Blah, I'm too sleepy for the last two episodes. I'll watch them while eating breakfast... which might likely be ice cream. :yey:
