Well for one thing, I think there's been some inflation since the penguins, and especially since the wyrms. Back then people didn't have as much gold, and there were fewer players. Honestly, I think a lot is just hype right now. It's infectious.

i think it is ridiculous... especially with the goldsinks tristan added (halloween creatures and the new jackalopes) a LOT of gold has been sucked out of circulation, which is good. but people are still putting ridiculously high prices on things. if you're willing to pay 2+ mil for ONE deer, thats your call, but I think it is silly. /endrant

I'm figuring their prices will lower once the demand dies down. And then I might buy a male for my girl if there are any for sale.

If not, I'll probably just find someone who's willing to partner up to breed ours.

I will be estatic if they're unlimited breeding, i'll be making a lineage outta them and spending all my gold on generation borns to breed with the children my GB mates make, i love them to death and i want to army them

By the way, the White Elk Gifters Guild is now the White Elk and Reindeer Gifters Guild, if the Reindeers will have unlimited breeding we plan to gift the offspring of our GBs much in the same way we do with white elks. So, if you aren't absolutely set on GB mates, first generation ones will be available for free.

I like this idea my male is mateless and I am sure finding him a GB Mate is not going to happen. I do not mind paying for a mate but the prices right now are not happening. I hope that they are able to breed without limits which would make me and many other I believe really happy.

I suppose I'll be patient a little while longer, then. xD And perhaps then I'll invest in a mate for my guy.

It can take up to several months. The penguins didn't have their breeding commands turned on until April. It's all based on when Tristan has time and/or thinks of it, so just be patient.

I spent a lot of gold to get my penguin pairs last year and I just about managed that. Als the prices this year for Reindeer are far ebyond my price range. So I'm just going to look for 1st gens when they can breed instead.
