Does anyone know if the download will not corrupt our computer? OR at-least give us a virus on our computer if or we do not download it?

I'm wondering how big is this file/files? and has anyone been downloading it lately just in case?

Every time I see a SQL error I start thinking, "Oh no, its going to happen again soon..."...hate being paranoid but can't help it at times

When you click on each file it shows how big it is (forum: 1 GB, general: 15 MB, pets: 88 MB,
private_messages: 29 MB).

I download at least once a week, but only the "pets" file.

File sizes are 0-1kb again. I think something's wrong.

My internet isn't usually very reliable, but I'll try to remember to download them at least once a week, if not more often (as my net allows).

I've been trying to find a way to have these downloaded automatically, but because the date and time of the backup is actually included in the file name, I'm having a hard time finding a program that can account for the variables with wildcards in the appropriate way. *sigh* I wish they would all have a static name, like "forum_backup" or something, because I think the time and date of the backup are coded into the files themselves in case we ever need to use them, and the time and date of the latest save is listed on the page where you download the files anyway. Anyone have a program that can do this for us automatically? FlashGet is a bust so far from what I've seen. I'm looking at another option right now but it's not looking good; darn dates and times in the file name. >,< Anybody got something working? lol

The date for the backups is 12-May-2012.

Moved backups to a separate server, this process is no longer needed.
