Finally got an Alicanto Heart. This tooks me a week. But it's worth it.

Sometimes, all you can do is be there for them. Hold their hand, give them a hug or just be a shoulder to cry on. 'Doing something' doesn't always mean actually accomplishing anything, sometimes just being there is enough.

Unfortunately, online friendships don't really work that way. It's hard to just be there for somebody when the only way they know you're actually there is text.
(I tried to come up with a way to say this that doesn't sound snippy, but I'm pretty sure I failed. I'm very tired and very done with the world rn, but I didn't want you to think I was ignoring you.)

Oh its a digital friend! Things that can help:

*Tell then you are there whenever they need it,whenever its just for venting or helping out by moral support,suggestions or just listening or discussing
*Ensure them you are by their side no matter the distance
* Tell them you are on their side no matter what. If you are not agreeing with what they are doing/did, say "I understand why you said/did what you said/did, but try to see the other side as well..(explanation here)."
* you may not be able to fysically hug or hold hands,but you still can say "I am here if you need me." and other things like that. Make sure you can follow through those promises though!
And yes it is hard to be digital friends sometimes.

I find it so sad that, even though my boyfriend is a legal citizen, I'm terrified for his safety in this country because he's an immigrant...

I will finally be able to start Cassidy on a raw food diet! Mom's helping me, because she likes Cassidy, and she was the "family" dog. Told her Cassidy won't eat kibble anymore, unless there's wet food in it, and with the cost of the expensive (higher quality) kibble plus not-so-cheap wet food, it would be cheaper to do the raw diet, anyway. But I warned her if I start, I can't just stop or use kibble to fill in. If I need help buying some of the food, I NEED it to be done. Period.

Problem I have is that neither the store here, nor the one in the next town over had chicken wings. Supposed to start with smaller bones, once I get to that point. Sister is going to town Tuesday, so maybe she can pick some up....

Unrelated: Because of recent voting, the sheriff is resigning. The deputies all have job offers elsewhere. We will have no law enforcement in our county. That will also affect our VFD, SAR, possibly even the volunteer ambulance crew. The county will be dissolved without a sheriff in office. Closest law enforcement will be 20 miles away, in the next county.

ETA: OMFG. I'm so fed up with people who claim they have no money. Asked my sister if she could pick up chicken wings. FUCKING CHICKEN WINGS. "Only if I get the money beforehand, because I don't even have money for gas." Bitch, HOW YOU GONNA GET TO TOWN WITHOUT GAS?! You have NO IDEA what having no money is like. I KNOW you got hundreds of dollars sitting in your bank account. I have $1.50 to my fucking name. NO OTHER FUCKING MONEY IN THE ENTIRE FUCKING WORLD. So don't fucking tell me you don't have any money, because you have no fucking idea.

AND IF DUDE HADN'T FUCKING CHOPPED MY EXTENSION CORD, I'D HAVE $50. BUT THEY COULD ONLY BE BOTHERED TO PAY FOR 1/3 OF IT!

standing behind the cash register/helping clear tables/doing other deeds is beginning to take its toll on me. my knee hurts and i cant stand up for very long w/o almost crying.

then again, my pain tolerance is very low.
