....................................Customers are evil. We had a group today, and apparently a group yesterday, who thought completely wrecking our furniture area was hilarious. Yesterday, they were apparently using the rolling office chairs for racing around the store and damaged SO MANY THINGS. The closing manager from last night was still fuming today. Told her next time we had that kinda shit, call in the security guards. They do walk throughs of all the stores this time of year, so it isn't too out of place to have one come in and catch that crap.

Tonight, this group of teenagers apparently thought our paper umbrellas would be fun to play with and ruined most of them.

We had this group of 16-19 y/os come in one day and they all wanted alcohol. One they were too young and two we don't even serve it. It's a truck stop, truckers and alcohol dont mix. While one of our waitresses tried to take the order of the table next to them, one of them kept going "ma'am, ma'am, ma'am" while she was TRYING TO TALK TO SOMEONE ELSE. Next, they make a complete mess of the table, spilling condiments purposefully. The works. Finally they make it to me. The kids are like "We need to split this check 6 different ways." Fine. Nothing I can't handle. Then one of the little shits tries his "Ma'am ma'am ma'am" trick with me. It doesn't work. I tell him (politely) to stop and wait his turn. Then one of his friends has the gall to only tip. 0.01. Yes. One cent on a $10~ bill. So all together thats 6 cents for a 60 dollar bill. Awesome. FINALLY these little shits steal the taffy we sell. I had at this point and yelled at them "COME BACK WHEN YOU LEARN TO BE RESPECTFUL." one of them called back "Be respectful to us, then!" ??????? i WAS you dumbass.

Anyways he next guy in line said "You're right, I agree with you, they needed to be more respectful"

I feel your pain and hope that the store can recover from the loss those damages will cause.

Maybe this is simply because of the holiday season, but I am not a happy elf at my workplace. It could simply be because I have not had a decent day off since the week before, my last two day offs had me being called in...for recovery! Ugh. There is a point, usually before I get off, where I am simply fed up and ready to smack somebody who pushes me past that line...but so far no explosions have happened.

But I want my day off! I want to see the new Star Wars movie!

Worst thing I hate about customers is the blockers and double-blockers. You have some items that need to be put up, but the isle is blocked by a customer with a cart. So you move to go around, but then they move in that same direction...

Hey, bit random, but now that it's been out for several months, is it okay to discuss Stranger Things 2 and whether it was good or not? I personally really disliked it and I get the sense that most people I know tried to convince themselves they liked it more than they actually did, kind of like with the Phantom Menace. I'm genuinely curious to know people's thoughts, because the most definitive comment on it I could find for either case when it first came out was "I liked how supportive the mother figures were."
