Today I scanned a picture that I had drawn my hand and used MS Paint to apply color. End result was perfect. On the other...nothing much to say. Work and later a lot of rain.

On that note, someone fucked up in the paper. On the front page was an article about J. F. Ross. It said it was continued on page 10.
The only article on page 10 was one about Guelph Lake. In fact, I could not find any continuation of the front page article anywhere.

Speaking as someone who worked for a newspaper doing page layout and design many years ago, that happens occasionally. It could have been an instance where someone forgot to leave room for the end of the story and then forgot to remove the jump tag. That or they found a way to get the entire story to fit on the first page.

Unrelated, we found some pineapple and guava flavored Laffy Taffy at the store today and I am in heaven.

So, the meeting wasn't as bad as I expected. Ran over though (again), which is why we always schedule it to end half an hour before we actually open to the public.

So I'm just hanging in the Starbucks closest to the store to enjoy some tea (I've had too much coffee today. My manager looked at me like I was insane when I admitted the coffee I brought in with me was my THIRD for the day)

I hate when my insomnia hits hard and I can't sleep at all ugh.

EDIT: So, I started falling asleep even though I'm shivering like crazy in the Starbucks (seriously, they keep their temp really low here and I forgot my jacket today. As such, I have bought my fourth coffee for the day. If I spend the afternoon vibrating I blame my manager.

My mom wants some new wool socks and I can't believe how difficult this is. I'm trying to find multi packs of 85%+ wool socks. Every time I search wool socks I get socks that have 0% wool in them. Even searching 85% isn't helping.

Maybe I should just get some wool yarn and have someone knit her some... I have pet sat for a lady who owns sheep and makes yarn out of their wool...and a few of my aunts can knit.

I can't begin to say just how much leaving my new gecko alone is killing me. I want to go gawk at my cute little baby, but he needs to get comfortable in his enclosure before I do that and I don't want to stress him out too much.
All I know is that he is eating, or at least the bugs keep disappearing from his food bowl, which is good.

Edit: 20 minutes ago I put in three mealworms and two waxworms, because I figure adding some fat onto his tail wouldn't be the worst possible thing. One of the waxworms is already gone.
This is basically the leopard gecko equivalent of eating your desert before dinner.
Truly this is my child.

I just got a gecko too! Like, two hours ago, actually.
