Ironically, I'm more bothered by whether my guildmates in MMOs know how old I am as opposed to what gender I identify. In real life I panic at the possibility of others perceiving me as female, online I get strongly agitated at the probability that others are going to think of me as a preteen.

Tonight I'm realizing that this is probably not the case with my guildies, because they just spent an hour comparing their 'oldie-cred' peens about which 20-gig computers they had 20-30 years ago and I shit you not, they brought up morse code.
It's becoming exceedingly obvious that they could probably think I'm in my 30's and still talk to me like I'm a little kid. I can't decide if this is relieving or irritating.

Next time that guy asks me if my mom know's I'm hanging out with them, I hope I remember to ask if his mom knows he's there, too - I think his mom spends more time playing EQ than mine does.
I love these guys, but really. He accused me of not knowing what DOOM is. Sheesh, dude. I'm not a zygote.

I have an interview at 3:30pm. I need to shower. I have to find clothes. I need to be up at least 12pm.

Mom surprised me with a strawberry cake. So good! I'm not really into celebrating birthday but it feels really nice

Wow. Could life get any worse? For real now. My sister, the one who helped take care of me, was diagnosed with the beginning of cancer. My father now has dementia. My mother has a superbug that isn't responding to medicines. And my sons arm hasn't healed yet.

I'm sorry you're dealing with all of that. I hope things start to look up soon.
