I'm really, really excited. I've been trying to hatch out some parakeet eggs for the past year or so, and I kept ending up with female 'keets, so I ended up putting my dad's old male in with my two girls and I actually ended up with live eggs! One just hatched today, and I'm squealing so much!
I really wasn't expecting much, he's at least 6 years old, and the two girls are really finicky. They've had two clutches together and have been doting on eggs for the past three months. Apparently they got my message when I said if they want babies, they gotta deal with ol' blue.

Yoooo, happy birthday!TheEmbodimentOfKarma wrote:Hurt my foot in PE, so it hurts to walk, and I just started my period. Both today.
Oh, and it's my birthday.
And I'm finally DONE with this sprite. Or - at least as done as I will be, because everything I still want to change is a whole other can of worms that I don't want to open at 1 am. xD

Thank you :3 I was looking into the description of the Etain desert when making this for reference and it said "Fire gryphons and phoenixes love to come here, even if they were not born to this climate" so I thought I would add the fire gryphon as only sunning itself (aka gone during the night) and cheated a bit with the phoenix. It is a bit weird but I wasn't sure how else to go about it.PaleoMage wrote:Hey, that's pretty good! The gryphon popping in and out of existence is a little weird, but other than that it's cool.hikariangelwings wrote:Let me know what you thinkSpoiler

Apparently I really like how farir look as tab dividers and suddenly I want to hoard them. All of them.
But what about the tabs not based around Silva? Certainly there are many other creatures that would have large sprites and look like depictions of the regions the tabs are based around... I honestly just always figured I'd use frozen eggs for diving, that seems to be the normal thing to do, but they just don't amuse me nearly as much as this. I'm going to have so much fun with this, figuring out all the right creatures for the right regional tabs, the plotting, the acquiring, the organizing... it's going to drive me nuts. It's totally going to drive me nuts - and I will go nuts with an idiotic grin.

Can someone please launch me into the sun
Anyways, screw this class and screw this essay that we were just told about on monday (at least it's just the rough draft). I'm going to bed and I'll deal with this tomorrow, preferably when I don't feel like turning into a supervillain.

On a very happy note:
My son got through his degree (Magna cum laude - 3.77 GPA). He did a degree in Management. So very happy for him. The graduation is in July
