Bio: I just found this odd spiral plant and it's rather intresting. It seems to feed on blood but human blood it perfers the most that's why this plant has evolved to have a "gem"
Hunting: It seems harmless enough until you try to grab the "gem" when you do, the yellow stem part straightens out and it locks it's prey in place and the green leafy parts lined with spines latch onto you and dig into your arm to drain your blood.
Uses: Well the yellow stem doesn't seem like it could be useful aside from just adding color to a potion. The green leafy parts with spines does seem to have some promise though because it secrets a numbing agent which could be used in healing potions. The "gem" it seems like it could have potential but I personally haven't found a way around to get it but losing a pencil I found that it is soft and not a "gem" at all. I would guess it developed it as a way to lure humans so it can drain their blood.
My thoughts: Well I would love to know more about this plant and how it came to be I have never seen it before and because I gave it a name I hope it's not too weird. Interfectorem Carpi
