(I suck at spriting)Item Description: These two interlocking silver (or gold, or one silver and one gold) rings sparkle mysteriously when a family member and another creature are near.
Item Use: Only usable with lineaged creatures. When used on an adult M/F pair of creatures; one of which is part of a lineage, they become bonded and can only breed with each other, and when you click breed on one of the pair, only the bonded mate appears in the breeding options row. Done from the Breeding page. Could be another box like the "Create Family" box, but only appears if the user has a set of Wedding Bands in their inventory. Can be used on creatures that do not have any offspring, or on creatures that already have offspring together. Only works if one of the pair is part of a lineage.
Obtain by: Repeatable Quest, item in a shop, definitely would be a gold sink. Would require a M/F pair of unfrozen, unnamed, unlineaged hummingbird hatchlings plus an amount of gold. (Considering I have like 1000 pairs to use this on, it wouldn't have to be that expensive for it to be an effective gold sink either. And I know I'm not alone in this.
)Does not change the sprite in any way, but maybe adds a little message to the creature page that says the creature is bonded to another creature to help avoid one of the pair being sold/traded without the other. Or, on that note, if one is traded/sold away, the new owner can "breaK" the bond by using a new set of Wedding Bands on the said creature, and bonding it with another.
