Name: Shiny Rock
Blurb:
Waiting beside the stream one day, a strange glimmer in the grass draws your attention. Curious, you pick up the small object and examine it. You quickly discern that is it nothing interesting, just a rock with a funny way of glinting in the sunlight. You are about to throw it away when you notice the rather large xxxx heading toward you. It seems friendly, but has it's gaze fixed on the shiny rock.

This seemingly ordinary rock seems to attract a variety of creatures- perhaps it has something to do with it's shininess? This object has the curious power to bring new creatures to your keep- however it's uses are limited, for if you handle it to often it seems to lose it's gleam.

Use:
Basically, this object has the power to add a new creatures to your keep- it can either be obtained through a quest or some other means. It can't just summon any creature- only certain creatures seem to be attracted by the gleam of the Shiny Rock. It can only be used a maximum of three times before it completely loses it's shine and becomes just an ordinary rock. There is a high chance of summoning a stream creature, and a lower chance of attracting something rarer, like a past event creature (or maybe a creature created specifically for the item?) You are able to summon an adult or a hatchling- if a hatchling, it will be at a random % of growth. The less shiny the rock (less uses the rock has left) the smaller the chance of summoning a rare creature. The rock might be an icon in your keep, or accessed by traveling to a location using the world map, for example.

Example of use message (Don't need to use these specifically- just ideas):
Pulling the rock from your pack, you hold it aloft and wait. Only a few minutes later, the undergrowth rustles, and a xxxx heads toward you!

Second use:
Examining the rock in your study, you notice that it doesn't seem as shiny any more. Suddenly, the crash of a falling table surprises you as a xxxx clambers through an open window.

Third use:
The rock has most definitely lost most of it's gleam. Unsure, you hold it out- and it isn't until a few minutes that you spot an xxxx coming in your direction.
