This. Also I don't think the messages should persist thru trades, due to possible abuse/harassment/something not nice because someone will eventually do not nice things to spoil things for everyone.

I'd love to see this as just a stock feature, too. (especially with more character space on the creature's page) I know something similar been suggested in the past. It is my hope that items that don't win will still be considered for future implementation in one way or another.

Maybe trade persistence isn't the best idea ever; it's possibly redundant since we already have trade notes. But, we can't be afraid to have neat features just because there's a potential for abuse. There are plenty of other ways that people can harass others, after all, like PMs, trade messages, gift messages, creature names, etc., but the benefit of having those features outweighs the risk. If people want to be a butthole, they will unfortunately find a way at least until they're blocked.

Anyway, even if this is implemented, I expect the staff will make changes at their discretion

Fixed that for ya. Because this is better than potatoes.


That being said, there are tons of great entries that deserve a place there more than my potato does.
