The Legend of the Siren (Blindstar97's Entry)

Post by Blindstar97 »

So, this is a little poem with a secret message in the lines, telling the story of a mythical Siren. I imagine this is some sort of story told to the younger magi by some sort of really, really old woman, and is pushed off as a myth. But perhaps the Siren does exist...~ *creepy music begins to play*

Poem under spoilers!

"The Legend of the Siren"

Centuries ago when
Origins were made,
Magic was raw and
Eves had begun,

Three sisters were made to be
Obedient to the gods.

Merry and elegant was the
Eldest sister.

Airy and sweet was the
Second sister.

Impish and arrogant was the

Sister made last.
Itching for more love
Not what was
Given to her at birth

The last sister scrutinized the
Others, seeking flaws among, then,

Yearning too eagerly for death, and
Optimistic of the end
Urgent was her desire

To end the
Others’ lives. But not
Wary of what she truly
Abhorred, and
Refused to fear her
Deathless creators.

During the night, too
Eager and brash.
Telling in song
How danger lurked

And three sisters
No more
Did walk that land

For the third slit their
Attractive throats
To gain more love
Erring in her fate.

Irritated of the death, the gods

Ousted the last sister
North, to the sea, without
Love and kindness once given to the
Youngest of three.

Waning moons passed,
Arrogance faded to
Numbness, but
The younger sister still sings

Lifeless and
Obscured, the
Very few can claim to hear the
Eerie voice of the Siren.
Does anyone see the message? Try reading the first letters of each line! *wink wink, nudge nudge*
Guess who's back... back again (after several years)
