Raveth are unique creatures with an unnecessarily bad reputation due to their appearance. Equipped with two sets of wings, their topmost and dominant wings possess long feathers that give it the appearance of a grim reaper’s cloak. Their mournful cries are rarely heard as they are quiet birds, though they will let their voices be heard when they are upset or lost.
These birds posses the power to see the future of anyone but themselves. They have a curious fascination with time-telling devices, and it isn't uncommon to find a hatchling stealing watched of all sorts, and older adults gifting themselves with their Magi's hourglasses.
Raveth at perhaps one of the most loyal companions. Though the will not share all of their sights into the future, they will stick with their Magi even after their passing. If the unfortunate fate of death befalls their Magi, they will grow depressed and remain in vigil near their Magi's grave. Although no one has ever witnessed it, it is believed that the Raveth eventually turn to stone. Many graves have been found with these stone birds guarding and perched upon heir tombstones.
