So that they can hide from magical people and magical creatures. If they are caught their last resort is to use their double stinger tails to poison other magical creatures and magical people. Their poison is a powerful magic. It makes magical people and magical creatures to forget everything that they knew and the only cure for it is to make an anti-poison potion with it's poison from it's two tails.
