The Luminor are among the most elusive creatures known to magi. They spend most of the year in the Caves of Nareau, far deeper than any magi has yet traveled. When they do come into contact with magi they are exceedingly shy, curling up to look like a strange rock. The only time the Luminor surface is during he height of autumn, when they come to the forest to breed and gather sunlight. The sunlight, stored in the red gem in their chest, serves to give them their magical power. The Luminor can cause its eyes, ears, and mane to glow. The few magi who have Luminor companions find them exceedingly useful for traversing dark areas such as caves.
