Dear Emander;

I am very happy to have received your letter and I am very interested in your studies as well, I hope we can become pen pals and soon discuss all aspects of one anothers lives and activities.

Your letter asks about our lives at the Keep. We all have so many different ways to live our days, it is hard to say what is really typical. Some of us sit babysitting the hatchlings, while some of us help them build families of there own. While some still go on Quests to aid the population of our little town. Myself, I tend to be a simplistic and I spend my days gazing into the waters of the stream looking for new eggs. I spend most of my time at the keep in the art gallery donating my hard earned gold on beautiful creations from other Magi and there creatures. I suppose collecting art is a hobby of mine. Do you have a hobby?

I really have no routine in my keep, we don't wake up or sleep at any given time. The hatchlings keep myself and my adult creatures up at all hours, so there is something to be done at anytime. I am surprised, you are interested in the raising of magical creatures. The detail in raising them is long and involved and I really do not have the time to go into that now, but I will say my Keep Guardians help me out alot.

As for our cultures and traditions we celebrate major holidays, Christmas and Hallows eve; what holidays do you have?

I would be very grateful if you would return a letter to me and tell me about how you spend your summers wherever you're at. For me and the creatures at my Keep we take a holiday, we go around the world and adventure seeking out new places and sights. The penguins adored our trip out to the isles, where they got to see the warm waters of the south. It was very hard for them to leave but with enough enticement with fish they reluctantly came home without much fight.
