O. M. G. I love this so much, it's kind of short, but I love it this way! It just gets better with each paragraph!

Snow snores. I found that out last night. We had to spend the night under a tree. It provided very little shelter from the cold winter night's air. I think that my ear tips froze off.
I had completely lost track of where we were. All I knew was that we were extremely far from the edge of my territory, but Snow and I were also far away from the bear's territory. I wondered how Snow knew where she was going. There was something about the way she was going that made me think that she had a rather good idea about where we were going.
I began to realize how strange it was that when Black went missing, the first animal that I saw was Snow. I hadn't even seen or heard a mouse! Why?
The though in the back of my mind that had nagged at me since yesterday came back. I managed to grip it with my mind.
The second time I had seen Snow, she had no smell of human on her.
"How long have you been a wolf?" I asked abruptly. Snow, who was leading, did not slow down. She jumped over a small dip in the land before answering.
"One week."
"Does your scent fade fast?"
"I still smell like a human, Rain. You just can't smell it."
"Can you change back?" I ignored the comment about my sense of smell.
"No, not yet."
"Not yet?" I asked. "Can't you just change whenever you feel like it?"
"No, I can't change into anything. I am stuck as a wolf."
"Why?"
"There are certain things that go beyond a normal animal's thought. Even beyond the thought of a human's."
"What do you mean?" My fur itched with frustration. Why did Snow have to be so secretive?
"I can't explain it. Not even I know quite what is happening. All I know is that I tried to change into a lion five days ago, and I couldn't. I couldn't even get the eyes right."
I didn't ask what she meant, because I knew I wouldn't get a straight answer. Also, I couldn't ask anything, because I felt myself fall into a vision. My knees locked, and I felt my head hit the ground. I barely saw Snow turn around.
There was the scent of blood in the air. I heard the dying sounds of battle. I knew that this vision had started off where the other ended. I could see Black's dark body lying in front of Snow's/my paws.
My gaze swept around me. All I saw were trees and rocks. No snow, which meant this wasn't winter.
Then I looked up.
