[Here's some more for you guys! Just a note of warning, I might not post more as often, because of my mid-year exams and also because I missed a month of school and have lots of catching up to do.]

Ralde awoke from his slumber abruptly, his sharp ears hearing the savage howl. "Riku." Ralde growled, "Riku!" he raised his voice a little, lifting his head and looking around in all directions for his twin brother. Ralde felt a pang of relif when he heard pawsteps and saw the familiar light brown wolf heading towards him. "What is it, Ralde?" Riku asked, clearly annoyed. "I was sleeping in a comfortable spot outside the pup's little den." he grumbled. Ralde said in little more than a growl, "There's trouble at the den beside the Lake, brother. Tell Elder to summon the guardians together. Someone deadly is at the Lake." Ralde growled.

Riku, surprised and a little shocked, dipped his head and raced to where he knew Elder slept. Normally, it was considered rude if a younger guardian woke up an older guardian in the dead of the night, but Riku knew that he had to bypass manners at this point. "Elder!" he barked loudly, "Ralde senses trouble at the Lake!" Riku growled. Elder blinked awake, and asked what the trouble was. "I'm not sure. Ralde didn't tell me. But he's certain it's serious." Riku replied. The Elder silently nodded hi head, and gestured for Riku to go. After Riku had left, Elder lifted his head and howled softly, though his voice projected the soft yet powerful sound towards only the ears of the guardians.

The wolf at the Mustical Lake turned towards the direction of the Guardian's shrine, his blood red eyes glittering in the moonlight. He let out a silent snarl as he stalked menacingly to the shine.

Sentōki's ears picked up Elder's soft howl, and he sat up in his nest. What's happening? he thought. Sentōki decided that he would be safer staying out with the other guardians and remaining in his enclosed den, where the entrance was the exit. Sentōki padded out of the den, and nearly tripped over a running wolf. He shrank back with a whimper when the wolf bared it's fangs at him before regaining it's balance and racing off again. Sentōki crept towards Riku, careful not to trip up any of the running wolves.

The guardians guarding the entrance to the shrine started sniffing the air. They scented something dangerous and watched their surroundings warily, searching for the source of the scent. Something dark leapt out of the bushes and lunged straight for the two guardians. There was a brief struggle when the wolf first appeared, and within seconds, one of the two guardians was dead, blood streaming out from a cut in the guardian's throat. Th other guardian was enraged by the death of his companion and he lunged for the wolf, howling out a battle cry. Time seemed to freeze for a moment when the guardian lunged for the stranger. The stranger whipped around, and slashed at the Guardian's neck with his fangs, letting the guardian's body fly past him and land with a loud crash in the bushes.

All the guardians and elders in the shrine had heard the lone guardian's battle cry, and the crash. They hurried to prepare themselves for battle, and turned to face the entrance to the shrine, where a blood splattered male stood, murder glinting in his cold red eyes. Sentōki, hiding behind a shocked Riku, couldn't believe his eyes, as, right before him, stood Dilitiro, the alpha who they had thought was dead.

[Okay, sorry for the lameness of this one. I had trouble writing it out. Fell asleep writing the first paragraph, woke up to write the second, fell asleep again, and finally now, I've finished it. I'll probably post more when I get back after school.]

[As a treat for you guys, since my exams are finishing soon. X3]

The guardians stared at the silhouette of the alpha in disbelief. Only one, shared, thought was running through their minds. How did he survive? Elder stepped forwards, bristling slightly, his uneasiness clear. "What do you want?" the question cut through the silence of the night. It was being directed to Dilitiro, and he other guardians started bristling when they saw that the alpha was not at all unnerved by the hostility of Elder. "Why be so hostile, Elder?" Dilitiro asked, the use of the Elder's title shocking the other wolves. "It's not like I came here to kill all of you." his words were dripping with poison. "I have come, to take back the pup." the alpha stated, his cruel eyes staring straight at the sky-blue ones of Sentōki.

"Do not think that you can invade our territory and take what you want, in the dead of the night." Elder snarled, "The pup has decided to join our ranks, and we have taken him in, and will begin his training to become a guardian as well." Elder bared his fangs. A murmur of agreement rippled through the guardians, like a wave of electricity passing through something. "Do you really think that you could stop me from taking what I want?" Dilitiro laughed evilly, "You guys must be more deranged than I thought!" he burst out into maniacal laughter, his body merging into the shadows. Sentōki's eyes widened in horror when he saw Dilitiro just disappearing. Surely only guardians could do that? There was a cry of pain, and all the gathered wolves turned as one to see Dilitiro clasping Ralde's neck in his jaws. "One false move." he growled, "One false move and your friend's pitiful life will be over." he growled, his jaws tightening, blood trickling out from the bite.

Elder growled and stepped forwards. "If you want a fight, Dilitiro, then you've got one. I'll take you on, just the two of us." Elder growled. If he was surprised by Dilitiro's controlling the shadows, he didn't show it. Elder stared at Dilitiro steadily, his tail held high and his ears shoved forwards in a show of dominance. "Fight me, and maybe you will understand what being a guardian has made us become." Elder growled, stalking towards Dilitiro on stiff legs. There wasn't any word of warning, or a sign of the impending attack. Dilitiro just lunged straight for Elder's throat. Elder, somehow predicting it, dodged to the side, Dilitiro's fangs missing their mark by a few centimeters. Elder retaliated by sinking his fangs into Dilitiro's exposed shoulder, and forcing the alpha down with sheer force. Dilitiro, refusing to yelp or show any sign of weakness, growled and snapped back at his opponent, grabbing Elder's ear. The two rolled around in a deadly, fighting ball, as the other guardians leapt out of the way of their brawl.

[I'm spoiling you guys, aren't I? Two posts in one day?]

[Here's a (rather late) update for you guys! Some some info, Elder is pretty old, you know. He's about 15 human years and is considered old as a wolf.]

Elder sank his fangs into Dilitiro's haunches as they rolled around, fighting. Dilitiro let out a sharp bark of pain and retaliated by grabbing Elder's right ear, shredding it slightly. This caused Elder to growl in pain and let go of the alpha wolf. Dilitiro got up slowly, his legs shaky, blood trickling out from the many cuts on his body. The alpha wolf glared at the old guardian, his red eyes taking in very moment of the Guardian's misery. "Say goodbye to your miserable life, old one." Dilitiro snarled, sinking his fangs into the flesh of Elder's throat, rendering the old wolf unable to move. "Watch closely, you Guardians. This is the end of your Leader's life!" he growled.

Sentōki, unable to take any more killing, raced straight for Dilitiro, and crashed his small body into the legs of the larger wolf. He sank his tiny fangs into the paw of the alpha wolf, his ever lengthening front two fangs piercing through the flesh easily. Dilitiro let out a howl out pain, letting go of Elder. Elder took his chance and rolled away, where Riku helped him up and supported him. Dilitiro, furious that his prey had escaped, looked down at the young pup and pulled him off easily, tossing him to a corner. He stalked towards Riku and Elder, his blood red eyes murderous. Riku stepped protectively in front of Elder, and snarled, his hackles raised. Dilitiro responds with a snarl of his own, and the two males circled one another, snapping whenever they could. Riku risked a glance to check on the young Sentōki, and his distraction was taken advantage of by the cruel Dilitiro, who leapt forwards and embedded his fangs in Riku's throat. Dilitiro slammed Riku onto the ground, and stood over him, fangs ready to tear through flesh and kill the now helpless wolf.
