A short story about my creatures (magistream, obviously)

There's always an argument in my keep when a new egg comes in. The creatures squabble about what's inside in a language I cannot understand, and about who get's the egg in their area of my keep. I love to see them trying to be helpful, but then I think: Oh dear. Do they want to share? For example, today my Topo Wyrm, Ember, was arguing to Mali, my Glyceris Drakeling about who was going to share an area with my Arkenian Kitsune egg. There is also a problem when creatures get angry. Like my Amphista. But more on that later.
The lake happens to be very popular for my creatures. It's a residence for a Storm Vevex Ray called Talia, a Ruby Koi named Rockpool, A Kraken of the title Cherry Fern, a beautiful Meriden Capricorn who answers to Nectar, and a Karchos Shark Egg. I constantly visit the lake, placing exits back to teh keep if they ever want to visit. It's tricky, but I manage.
