You've stumbled upon a booth in a market flying a fish-shaped windsock. Within its borders is a wide and shallow stone basin. Many goldfish ( no wait, those are tiny koi! ) are swimming lazily in the water; each one sporting a different pattern.

"Welcome! To my little koi fishing game!" A woman suddenly appears beside you, offering a small, flat net by the handle. "Test your luck and skill by scooping out as many koi as you can in one minute! You keep what you catch as your prize." She gestures to crates stacked under the counter containing an assortment of bottles already filled with water.

"Do not worry, those bottles are bigger inside than they appear," she says with a wink. "I have also enchanted the water to maintain suitable PH and oxygen levels for a while, so you have plenty of time to set up a new home for them. Oh, but, you are a Magi, yes? If you want to keep them in those cute bottles, I can show you how to maintain the spell."

"So, do you want to play?" Dexterity check. Catch d6 koi.



Wait, but what is this (TL;DR)
This is a gachapon style system of adoptables. You roll a die and I dispense random koi in random bottles. Grab a few or try to collect them all. Currently there are twenty-eight patterns of koi and four styles of bottle. That's over a hundred combinations!

How to do the thing
The is no fee to play. You can play once per day. ( A day ends at midnight Magistream time. )

• 1. Roll a six sided die. (If you don't have one laying around in a Yahtzee box, you can use a random number generator) We're pretending this is how many koi you caught before time ran out.
  2. Post the result of your die roll
  3. I respond with the image codes of the koi you "caught"
  4. Repeat the next day, if you want

What to do with them
You could ... display them on your profile, put them in your signature, or use one as your avatar either here or on another site. You can do, basically, whatever you like. I'm not going to restrict your use of them. I just ask that you a) don't claim you made them and b) don't sell them. If you want to link back to this thread, you can use the code template below :
