Okay, now for some color time.
I would like 4 color potions. 2 yellow, 1 pink and one red.
Feed Colton a yellow, then feed Test Subject the red one. As for Rose, feed her the pink one.
Now, heart break time. Feed Fluffle and my unnamed female to Colton. *sends golds*

Pfff. There has to be some grass and trees and bushes and more green things around. :P

Anyway, I'm quite sure that my mice are clever enough to survive and spread the green. :yarly: *nods*

I'm guessing that we can hunt for mice now that the event has ended. So I'd like to put a piece of cheese in a jar and place it near mice tracks. :D Hopefully I catch a green one, they were cute hehe.

Two pots, please. Unnamed for now.
One terracotta scroll, please.
And eight jars, please. :D

Edit: I'm not sure if this is a good thing, but I want one of the pitch black scrolls and use it. Even though I fear the results. I'm curious! D:

Just as a note, because I've been so horrible about this I'm going to auto-grow everyone's pots. If I've missed someone's, tell me.
raen wrote:Could I get four more pots please? And I'd like to name them Aerdyn, Mikan, Jikasa, and Bane. I'd also like to breed Kilia and Ferden and my two angel mice. I'd also like to feed a white potion to Anda. Sending the trade. :)
More pots! You've got a bumper crop of hungry, carnivorous plants now. Hmm. Maybe you should've thought things through a but more.

You breed your colorful mice and get some colorful babies. Brown is a color.

Image Image

The angels, however, don't seem to be wanting to do the nasty, as they are pure and holy and all that jazz.

Anda gets a white potion, which turns her a rather pale color. Hmm.

Oh, don't worry, Test Subject.. You will be the luckiest.*evil grin*
You name your little lovely Angelina. It's a nice name, if a bit redundant at this point.

And, my masterplan for taking over the world with green: Release five male and five female green mice.
Lets see how long it takes for somebody to catch a wild green mouse. :wee:

And no worries about the Lair updating, I was just looking at it to see what I could do. :D
Colors! Yay!

You've tried colors with the normal mice; what about the... less normal ones?

You try to feed your ghost two red potions. It drips through him and puddles on the flood. You'll have to scrub that out later.
You have better luck with the angel mouse, though its wings stubbornly remain white.

Welp, time to spread color to the world. You release some of your green mice. They look at you, confused. They don't really want to leave - you gave them plenty of food, and they were safe - but eventually they wander off.

You purchase a... phoursome of potions. See, it's totally alliteration.

Colton gets a yellow one, turning him a rather unsightly shade.

Test subject gets the red potion, and turns a muted pinkish red, while Rose gets the pink one and turns a nice pink. Not exactly a rosy pink, but certainly pink.

Hmm. The mice ought to be recovering in numbers after the ordeal - they are, after all, mice. You set out a trap and lie in wait. Soon, you hear a squeak. You walk out and find a brown mouse in the jar. They're back!

You purchase a squabble of feeder mice and promptly turn around and feed them to your plants. You've got a lot of plants now, so each only get 3-4. Some are filled, others are still hungry. At least you got something from your bother. Two somethings, rather.

Image Image

Then you feed a couple of red potions to Gretta. Hm. She's turned redder, and her spots are fading.
Image
Now for something... different. As you approach your miniature garden, you wonder how you're going to go about doing this. They're just plants after all, so some sort of... cross-pollination thing ought to be possible. You're just not sure how.

An idea strikes you, and you hustle out to grab a paintbrush. Rushing back, you carefully approach Cho first and try to tickle some pollen out of her. She "sneezes", a small puff coming out. Okay, good. You move onto the other plants, with varied results. Rodrick is cooperative, but Audry snaps at you, and you're almost not able to get a sample. Lastly, you wrestle with Gretta a bit - thick gloves help a lot - and dust all the pollen from the other plants onto her.

Some time later, Gretta produces a seed. You place it in an empty pot and wait for it to grow.

You purchase a couple pots and a matching scroll. You unwind it, curious as to what's inside, but nothing happens. And it's blank. Well, that was a ripoff. Hopefully in the future there'll be some use for it.

You pause, then turn back. There's one more scroll you want to get... the mysterious black scroll. There's an air about it that reeks of doom and darkness. You hear at mind in the back of your head, telling you to go back, to not buy it, to walk out while you still can. But you must know. You drop a sack of coins onto the counter - it's too large to fit into the jar - and walk away slowly. The cat that was tending the jar, startled out of a light nap, hisses at you as you depart.

Once at your lair, you put down your pots and other scroll, then hold out the black one before you. You stare at it for a little while, thinking. The mice are all very agitated; those that are caged hide under what cover they can find, and the ones that are running free do their best to escape the room. Even the shrive-weeds seem agitated, their leaves coiling and twisting in uneasiness.

No more dilly-dallying. You open the scroll.

There is a terrible silence.

You blink, confused. What happened? There aren't any words on the scroll... and then there is no scroll either, its paper crumbling into a fine black powder that seems to disappear as it falls through the air. Did it make everything quiet? No; you can still hear the beating of your heart, and the sound of your breathing.

You look around the room, bewildered. In the corner, the shrive-weeds are dry and withered, their forms blackened, as though they'd not been watered for years. All around you, the bodies of mice lie still.

A faint scratching tells you that not all are gone though - a white head pokes out from under some bedding. It's a feeder mouse... or used to be. A scared, confused angel emerges, and is soon followed by the rest of her cagemates.

You do a quick check to see who's alive.

You're feeling like having a bit of fun today. Why not paint a mouse up? You traipse down to the store and purchase a new feeder mouse - a male today. why not? - and then pour a couple of dyes onto it. It does not seem pleased by your actions. The color is rather drippy. And to top it all off, you tie a bright ribbon around it. Pink, of course. What other color is there for such a deed?

You might as well kill the poor thing now to put it out of its misery.
