They take almost two weeks, which I just realized is a rather long time... hm. /notes to self: growth potion

You set out six jar traps with cheese lures. This is going to he hard to keep track of. You'll have to simply hope and wait for mice to get trapped in the jars, rather than running around hoping to catch one.

Some time passes, then you hear squeaks. You check on the jars and are pleasantly surprised to find that five of the jars hold mice. The sixth one, it seems, was more slippery than the rest, and had escaped with the cheese. The ones you've caught have eaten the cheese and are now looking for more. One of them seems calm enough to take out, so you do so. He settles happily on your shoulder and nibbles at your ear.

Four jars, and four cheese baits. You set them out and wait expectantly. Just as you're growing bored, fingers tapping incessantly against a wall, you hear the pitter-patter of little feet, then the squeaks of surprised and angry mice.

They are so darn cute even if they are angry.

I wonder....

May I get 4 more piece of cheese for each mouse? It might cheer them up a bit.

You drop a piece of cheese into each jar and give each mouse a pat on the head. They gobble the cheese up and become satiated, less concerned with running away and more concerned with finding a comfortable place to doze.

Luckily for you, the gestation periods for mice are short. In not much time, you find yourself with a litter of baby mice.

MICE!

This is even more fun considering I have a Black, White, an Brown mouse as pets...
named Blackie, Brownie, and Whitey.

Thankfully mine are all female.

Anywho...
I'd like to name these guys...

You give a piece of cheese to each mouse, which they accept and eat. Now tame, you're able to scoop them out and play with them.
