The transformation appeared to be very painful for him, though he went through the motions of it with a well-rehearsed ease. She wondered what it felt like to change like that. She wouldn’t have to worry about something like this. Not for a while, at least. Though the intrigue of it all brought her a little reluctantly out of her mood. Only slightly.
He had a broad snout, with a horn at the end. His scales were a deep black, with a slight reddish hue to them. A thick mane of inky black fur grew from his long neck, and draped it entirely, thick and lustrous like a lions mane. He had a set of thick, forward curving ram horns, and a backwards, upwards set of horns, reminiscent of demon horns. He was long and sinuous, his tail more than the length of his body. It ended in a point, with a small, triangular growth on the end. It twitched slightly, his tail swaying slowly. She thought he looked very regal, and began drinking in his fiercesome form.
He had massive wings, if his entire body stretched at around fifteen feet (eight feet tall at the shoulder, six from his broad chest to his head, nine feet or more from his chest to the base of his tail, which was around twenty feet.) His wingspan had to be at least thirty. The underside had a blood red membrane stretched between his wing fingers. Where normally a dragon would have a single claw poking out of it’s wing ‘hand’ he had three. It looked as though he could use it as effectively as his massive talons. The backs of his wings were coated in a flowing, unblemished, leathery hide, hiding the red membrane from view, which connected to his body about halfway down his tail.
