the fan like thing is just that- instead of a normal, spade tail, she has a fan tail. It is small, decorative even. Does that clear things up?

Yup, I meant those. And I mean on Ty, I think it's about time he gets some armor since I originally planned him as a fighting character (and one to constantly get in trouble)- god, so much time has passed since I first played with his most basic version, I can't believe it... o.O
I plan on having him wrap something around his tail (like the basic idea of a ponytail), but I'm not sure where yet - base or tip?
I'd really love if you could make up a pose, by the way, because I can't for the life of me describe the one I came up with
