The rule was only implemented a short time ago ; those who had ordered recolours/splices before the rule came into effect were unaffected and their orders completed since it would be unfair otherwise. This is what I said a few pages ago on the subject of recolours:

Are any slots open? And how much does it cost for a siggy set?

I saw your models for your signatures, and I was wondering about, if ever I was going to order, how I would specify the designs for the sides, where the creatures are? I meant the background design.

...And that was really confusing... D< I'll be happy to rephrase if I'm not making sense.
They need some TLC. :3
