Okay, here's my second entry. I meant to have this one done sooner, but exams got in my way.

Since this isn't mentioned in the rules, and some people submitted their photos, can I submit a piece that wasn't made specifically made for this contest? Well, technically it was finished after the contest was already announced. The background texture is a free resource by hibbary, and the character is mine, flying around on a sunny day. This was a nice lighting practice.

I thought about submitting this because I was currently looking up reference pictures for a possible entry, and realised that the picture I've chosen reminds me too much of this already finished piece that has been sitting on my dA.

I finally have my entry. I call it "Dark Angel".

I have used reference, but it's a bit hard to give you picture, since it was the 3D chat system IMVU. I simply turned around the camera until I had the right angle and then drew, using the character as my guide.

I am unsure which entries you are asking about, but you could enter a photomanipulation or an actual photograph as your fourth entry...

The photos are bigger than 600x900 but I can adjust them if need be.

Enameling piece of a moth. Some adjustments of the color was done by GIMP cause the camera sucks.
