A report about a USA thing on the BBC.

I'm also not worried. However, instead of asking the citizens to 'keep watchful', how about the government does that instead if they have a credible source that says 'watchout'? :t-facepalm:

And? The BBC reports on what's happening all over the world, not just here in the UK.

While it's a good thing that the government is paying attention to things this time, part of me is worried that this report will just cause panic and paranoia.

I know, but for some reason I find it really funny.

And yeah, panic won't be helping out... I'm sure plenty of people are edgy around this time of the year.

I think the only thing happening is going to be that bombing that happened this morning in Afghanistan.

80 US soldiers were wounded, but luckily non killed *yay body armor!*

As far as I see it, we can't really do anything to stop it, so why worry about it unless it actually happens?

I find that an attack today would be too predictable... Then again, I don't think the government is on the defensive mode right now, so anything could happen.

And I also think people are mourning too much to be too panicked.

Has anyone been following the Occupy Wallstreet (and various other places across the country) protests? What do you think of the movement? Has anyone been to any of the protests?

I was, unfortunately, unable to attend the one in Dallas last week as I had to teach a night class. I was sad to see that it didn't get much attention from the local media--mostly due to Texas/OU weekend... :t-corner:
