A channel about your birds sounds like a nice idea, it'd be a nice creative way to share something you're passionate about and maybe connect with other bird owners. It'd be good to talk to your parents/guardians about it, so maybe they can help out. Parrotforums.com seems like a pretty cool place where you'd be able to talk about and learn more about parrots/keets from other bird owners :)

I had some budgies when I was a kid, they're awesome!! My favorite was a blue and white one named Tweeter - he was very sweet, loved getting pets and would sit on my shoulder and finger. I miss him! Favorite parrot is the African Grey - never owned one, but the ones I've met have been so sweet and smart. Aratinga parrots are so beautiful, love their color.
I'd like to get a parakeet again one day, but I have 3 cats at the moment D:

Just a general question to Americans here: Is it normal to keep a single bird as a pet?

well im not speaking for all americans but it solely depends bird itself for example parakeets are kept whith another bird of itself like budgies bourkes parakeets and lenolated parakeets just cause they live iin large flocks while the more large birds like macaws are some times kept in pairs but usually 1 because they live in small flocks of about 30 to 50 birds also the price macaws and other large birds tend to be more expensive on top of all this human greed is a big factor so we take away all other possible companions from a bird life so its forced to love a human. i have two parakeets and a quaker so there all pretty cool with each other. i"will be soon getting a macaw amazon or african grey but it all depends on factors of cooperation learning abilities and much more as is the idea with keeping more than 1 bird.

I see, thanks for sharing.
While browsing through YouTube, I got pretty irritated when I saw soo many videos of single birds in a hiusehold. Often, they had some serious issues concerning their behaviour, but their owners and people in the comments section found it 'cute' or 'funny' or so...

well i don't necessarily agree with this but sometimes it could be for the "birds sake" for example my breeder only had male quakers left and two male quakers don't exactly cooperate so here he is with his parakeet fellows. Now lots of youtubers replace "flock members " with other parrots these youtubers take really good care of their parrots so i don't mind that but people who do have one parrot they give lots of cae and attention like mikey the macaw and friends so its best not judge others without truly knowing the person. put yourself in someone elses shoes
