1. I have had multiple paracosms and still do.

2. I still continue two of mine. Only one of them that I can think of I stopped continuing. The reason I stopped that one was because I stopped being passionate about it so i started a new one.

3. I was probably around 11 I think.

4. I don't think there was any triggering event, I was just lonely and board so I started doing it.

5. One of mine I imagine in an anime style. That one I've been doing for a long time and it started just being about a girl that became queen of a kingdom in a mythical land when her sister died. After awhile i got tired of it so i added in a new generation of people. Then every time I get tired of the characters i just start a new generation in it. My other one is supposed to be about an imaginary version of my past life. The characters other than me are past life versions of all the people that are in my life in real life. I have them there because imagine that we are connected in some way, beyond just meeting in this life. Some of the things that happen the story are based off of things that happened in real life that are important in creating who i am in real life. I imagine that because these events happen in all my past lives and they will always happen. There also are people i just made up and most of those aren't that important to the story. In the story I'm the queen of a country. The story is about love, war, and tragedy and heartbreak.

6. I'm an active character in one of my current ones and the one I don't do anymore. In the other one I am just a passive observer.

7. The only person I've told about it is my Boyfriend. I enjoy having one but at the same time I kind of don't like it. I like coming up with the stories and it is a good pastime when I'm alone at home and don't have anything to do and during car rides. However, I find it kind of a distraction from reality. Like when I'm with people or trying to pay attention at school, sometimes its like I cant stay in reality. Even when I try to push the thoughts away they keep coming back and sometimes I start doing it without even realizing it. I used to think it meant that I was going crazy or that it meant I was gonna go crazy eventually. It used to be a secret because I thought something was wrong with me and I thought id get put in a hospital if people found out.

8. I created my paracosms alone.

9. I did it by daydreaming and at night before you fell asleep.

10. I never believed that it was real but up until i started dating my boyfriend my worlds felt more real than reality.

11. It hasn't yet but I've been thinking about writing stories about them.

12. I didn't know about paracosms before now.

13. My boyfriend also has paracosms and we met at school. We ended up sharing information about them by onetime I asked him if he's ever made up a fantasy world in his head. He told me he has and we told each other about each other's worlds.

1. Do you now/ did you ever have a paracosm?

All the time, ever since I was a kid. I thought that's what playing and role playing was, to be honest.

2. If you no longer maintain your paracosm, why did you stop?

Mine always end up becoming stories that I want to write, so I don't necessarily live in that world, but I think up characters and their stories within those worlds. I never really stopped, though I've gone through periods where I used them less. I think most authors and role players have them to some degree.

3. About what age were you when you began worldplay? About what age were you when you stopped, if you have?

I remember doing this since age six, but I probably started younger.

4. Was there a triggering event that caused you to start a paracosm, or was it just something you always sort of did?

It was something I always did.

5. What is/was your paracosm like? Did it have a name? What was the setting like, and who were the characters? Was there a storyline? Please share whatever you feel comfortable sharing.

Since I had many different worlds, there is no one single name or single story, there are too many to list here.

6. Were you an active player in your paracosm, or were you a passive observer on what the characters there did? If you were active, what were you like there?

When I was a kid, I was an active player. As I grew older and began to write, I became a passive observer.

7. Did you ever tell anyone about your paracosm? How do you feel about having one? i.e., was it a big secret that you were guilty about, or were you open about sharing it with others?

I never knew there was a name for this, so I called them story ideas.

8. Did you create your paracosm alone, or with siblings/ close friends?

When I was a kid we would create them together, and then play characters in our stories.

9. How did you play in your world, (by writing, by daydreaming, at night before you fell asleep, etc.)

When I was younger, it was more often, but now that I'm older, only once in awhile.

10. Were you ever deluded as to the reality of your paracosm, (believed it was a real place you traveled, delusions of godhood, etc.)

No, I never thought of them as real places. I knew they were imaginary and not real.

11. Has your paracosm played an important role in your creative life? How?

All the time. I use them for writing, art, and games.

12. Did you know about paracosms before now? How did you learn about them?

Until now I didn't know there was a specific word for it, but the description sounds like the thing I do.

13. Did you/do you know anyone else who has/had a paracosm? How did you meet? How did you end up sharing information about your paracosms?

I've met other writers who create their own worlds, but we called them story ideas.
Please help us grow <3

    • 1. Do you now/ did you ever have a paracosm?
i believe so.. i dont do this anymore though. :c

      2. If you no longer maintain your paracosm, why did you stop?
i think i more so got bored of it and i think that i just grew up lots of changes happened around the time i quit.

      3. About what age were you when you began worldplay? About what age were you when you stopped, if you have?
i honestly cant remember when it started but i did this until i was at least fifteen.

      4. Was there a triggering event that caused you to start a paracosm, or was it just something you always sort of did?
i was alone a lot of the time growing up, i just wasn't happy with my reality, and had low self esteem. idk i just think i used it a lot to cope. i thought it was fun. c:

      5. What is/was your paracosm like? Did it have a name? What was the setting like, and who were the characters? Was there a storyline? Please share whatever you feel comfortable sharing.
i would look up anime art online and create characters, then create an AU to go along with it, all in my head. there were so many different scenarios/storylines, i think that one of them was about getting stuck in a VR game kinda along the lines of the anime SAO. there were also storylines where i am a bounty hunter or a rouge character and i meet up with others, sometime irl people i know. i would also always be listening to music if i ever was involved with my paracosm, it just made everything have harmony.

      6. Were you an active player in your paracosm, or were you a passive observer on what the characters there did? If you were active, what were you like there?
i was a bunch of different personas, but also, i was a passive observer at times. as an active player my persona would range from, vampire, to werewolf, to bounty hunter, and im pretty sure at one point i had created this magical nymph character and i really liked being active as her. otherwise i would play as my favorite characters in tv shows, anime, and video games. there were also times where i would use random anime characters i enjoyed the design of, out of random artworks online.

      7. Did you ever tell anyone about your paracosm? How do you feel about having one? i.e., was it a big secret that you were guilty about, or were you open about sharing it with others?
i actually never told anyone about this, and since i was aware that it was just my imagination/all in my head, i just didnt consider telling anyone. i guess that's not a bad thing though because it was something that i could have all to myself and only to myself.

      8. Did you create your paracosm alone, or with siblings/ close friends?
the only help i receive was from the people who created the random character art online and the artists who sang all the music i'd listen to, hehe. but otherwise i was 100% alone.

      9. How did you play in your world, (by writing, by daydreaming, at night before you fell asleep, etc.)
i played in my world by daydreaming, i would just lay on my couch with music on and close my eyes then i'd just go for it, i would also fall asleep doing it; it just made me feel so comfy and safe to the point where i could actually do that.

      10. Were you ever deluded as to the reality of your paracosm, (believed it was a real place you traveled, delusions of godhood, etc.)
nope, i was aware that it was just something i created in my mind.

      11. Has your paracosm played an important role in your creative life? How?
      music wise it definitely has.

      12. Did you know about paracosms before now? How did you learn about them?
      no i did not know about them! im actually really satisfied with this discovery. i learnt about them from this thread. ;v;

      13. Did you/do you know anyone else who has/had a paracosm? How did you meet? How did you end up sharing information about your paracosms?
i dont know anyone else who has a paracosm.

Firstly, you guys should look up maladaptive daydreaming.
1. Do you now/ did you ever have a paracosm?
I’ve got a whole LAYER OF REALITY that I run.
2. If you no longer maintain your paracosm, why did you stop?
Never stopped.
3. About what age were you when you began worldplay? About what age were you when you stopped, if you have?
I’ve been making worlds for as long as I can remember. That goes back to about, what, 4?
4. Was there a triggering event that caused you to start a paracosm, or was it just something you always sort of did?
Second option.
5. What is/was your paracosm like? Did it have a name? What was the setting like, and who were the characters? Was there a storyline? Please share whatever you feel comfortable sharing.
It’s all sorts of things, considering its vastness, but it’s nameless. Lots of different settings, characters, convoluted storylines... It’s like a Gintama version of Homestuck. Oh, and there’s Homestuck universes.
6. Were you an active player in your paracosm, or were you a passive observer on what the characters there did? If you were active, what were you like there?
First of all, don’t say “were”. Second, I’m a main character. I made this world. Do you expect me to not live in it?
7. Did you ever tell anyone about your paracosm? How do you feel about having one? i.e., was it a big secret that you were guilty about, or were you open about sharing it with others?
Told people, no one believed me. Sucks for them. Also, you talk like it’s a disease.
8. Did you create your paracosm alone, or with siblings/ close friends?
Aaaaaaaall me, baby.
9. How did you play in your world, (by writing, by daydreaming, at night before you fell asleep, etc.)
All of the above.
10. Were you ever deluded as to the reality of your paracosm, (believed it was a real place you traveled, delusions of godhood, etc.)
Delusions would imply I think I actually travel to my world. By law of multiverse theory, it IS real, somewhere, but I am well aware that I am unfortunately grounded in this reality. Shame. I’d love to be an omnipotent goddess.
11. Has your paracosm played an important role in your creative life? How?
My “paracosm” IS my creative life! I express myself with the characters and worlds I create. I’ve been working towards installing a Wacom Intuos to start digital art, but my computer has... issues.
12. Did you know about paracosms before now? How did you learn about them?
Eh. It’s my world. I don’t need a fancy name for it. But no, never heard the word before.
13. Did you/do you know anyone else who has/had a paracosm? How did you meet? How did you end up sharing information about your paracosms?
Nope. I’d love to collaborate with other people, but it’s so hard to find people who’ve created worlds and characters for more than just showing off their artsy side. My closest pal is close in that regard, but she’s really self conscious about her work and doesn’t want to do much with it.

1. Do you now/ did you ever have a paracosm?
Ow yes, about 4 or 5. And still do

3. About what age were you when you began worldplay? About what age were you when you stopped, if you have?
I never stopped, but I started at 11 or so I believe.

4. Was there a triggering event that caused you to start a paracosm, or was it just something you always sort of did?
Major trauma, first my parents messy divorce, then mental and physical abuse, bullying and deaths of the 2 only persons I trusted.

5. What is/was your paracosm like? Did it have a name? What was the setting like, and who were the characters? Was there a storyline? Please share whatever you feel comfortable sharing.
Storyline is always the same, I'm a very powerful person with super powers. Who heals the world of all it's wrongs.

6. Were you an active player in your paracosm, or were you a passive observer on what the characters there did? If you were active, what were you like there?
I was the protagonist, the hero. I was powerful, confidant, just, kind and loving.

7. Did you ever tell anyone about your paracosm? How do you feel about having one? i.e., was it a big secret that you were guilty about, or were you open about sharing it with others?
I never told anybody, I feel that it's my own private world for my own pleasure. I do sometimes feel it's unnatural or weird, but it;s mine and it helps me relax.

8. Did you create your paracosm alone, or with siblings/ close friends?
All on my own.

9. How did you play in your world, (by writing, by daydreaming, at night before you fell asleep, etc.)
Daydreaming and at night to fall asleep.

10. Were you ever deluded as to the reality of your paracosm, (believed it was a real place you traveled, delusions of godhood, etc.)
No never, though I wish....haha

11. Has your paracosm played an important role in your creative life? How?
Yes, I would love to write a b ook about it someday.

12. Did you know about paracosms before now? How did you learn about them?
Just now haha

13. Did you/do you know anyone else who has/had a paracosm? How did you meet? How did you end up sharing information about your paracosms?
No I don't, I think people keep those things private, or feel ashamed by it.

1. Do you now/ did you ever have a paracosm?
I think I might actually... I always imagine different changes to the world. For example one of my most common changes I imagine is I have the power to transform into animals and I turn into something dangerous or attention drawing. For example at a young men/women meeting I didn't want to go to I imagined guys broke into the building and took everyone hostage then commanded the girls to walk outside to a truck and get in. I stepped forward first and the people behind me tried to stop me but I charged at the men and transformed into a panther. Everyone was shocked and it wasn't a moment longer that I had nearly killed one of the men. Everyones attention was on me. After I had unarmed all the men scared abut what would happen that everyone knew I could transform I ran away.
That was basically the end of that daydream...

2. If you no longer maintain your paracosm, why did you stop?
Never really stopped :derr:

3. About what age were you when you began worldplay? About what age were you when you stopped, if you have?
For as long as I can remember and still even now

4. Was there a triggering event that caused you to start a paracosm, or was it just something you always sort of did?
Both I think. I've always had a vivid imagination but when I retreated into myself after my dog died and I blamed myself and everyone told me I would forget her and that she is just a dog. As a kid that tore me apart because I was a really sensitive kid.

5. What is/was your paracosm like? Did it have a name? What was the setting like, and who were the characters? Was there a storyline? Please share whatever you feel comfortable sharing.
Sometimes my daydreams are continuities of another dream/daydream. Other times they are completely original with original characters and plot lines. For example one of my favorite characters was a girl. I don't even know her name. But she lived in the egyption era but was cursed and woke up in the modern day. And after that there is literally a whole chapter book that I'm working on that is just based around her. Oh and she can turn into a Gryphon.

6. Were you an active player in your paracosm, or were you a passive observer on what the characters there did? If you were active, what were you like there?
Most the time I was the active/main character. I'm usually central in every daydream. However I have had a few where I'm a bystander just watching.

7. Did you ever tell anyone about your paracosm? How do you feel about having one? i.e., was it a big secret that you were guilty about, or were you open about sharing it with others?
I've hinted at about it to a few people. Sometimes I would tell my daydreams as stories that I read or dreamt about. I've told my little brother and mom about it but they think its weird so I covered it up somehow

8. Did you create your paracosm alone, or with siblings/ close friends?
They are all only in my mind. No one else has ever really participated in them. At least knowingly :P

9. How did you play in your world, (by writing, by daydreaming, at night before you fell asleep, etc.)
All of the above

10. Were you ever deluded as to the reality of your paracosm, (believed it was a real place you traveled, delusions of godhood, etc.)
I think there were a few cases of that but nothing that would be a problem. I sometimes would just forget weather or not something was a dream or reality.

11. Has your paracosm played an important role in your creative life? How?
Yes. It's a great escape especially because I can do it at will and I will laugh and smile about something completely without even realizing the boringness that I'm trying to avoid. And I often write stories on what I come up with or attempt to draw the characters I see in my head.

12. Did you know about paracosms before now? How did you learn about them?
Nope.

13. Did you/do you know anyone else who has/had a paracosm? How did you meet? How did you end up sharing information about your paracosms?
Nope.

Post by Kastilla »

1. Do you now/ did you ever have a paracosm?
I have had a few paracosms in my life, though I only remember the one I have currently.

2. If you no longer maintain your paracosm, why did you stop?
I think I do not remember the paracosms from when I was a little kid because there was either an apocalypse (puberty, basically) or I never really paid attention to it's well being. I honestly never realized it was a separate world, so I didn't see the need to act any different to it. If you understand that, haha.

3. About what age were you when you began worldplay? About what age were you when you stopped, if you have?
GOSH. Maybe when I was three, I began to have life-changing experiences and the only way I was to cope was through my imagination. Though, I did not understand those life events, but I knew they were stressful in someway. I developed my little world, somewhere I could go in naptime and playing outside. Just a little safe haven from Mother Earth. Haven't stopped!

4. Was there a triggering event that caused you to start a paracosm, or was it just something you always sort of did?
It could have been triggered by the few episodes of trauma that occurred when I was real young. Emotional trauma, stemming from my alcoholic father. However, the current paracosm I have now was definitely triggered by puberty and my emotional growth throughout those years, coping with bullying, mental illness, and finding my purpose in life. I still do struggle with the problems of my past, but I try to think positively.

5. What is/was your paracosm like? Did it have a name? What was the setting like, and who were the characters? Was there a storyline? Please share whatever you feel comfortable sharing.
The main one that appears in my head is a beautiful, golden, warm and peaceful wheat field. One where I can take a nap under the perfect ray of light, under a large oak tree. Smelling the sweat wheat and dirt. Many characters make their home there, and I would rather not go into detail. Once I go into detail, I am unable to stop hehe. I am currently developing a storyline, and it has proven to be a lengthy process. If you wanna sneak a peak, I have a website it is dedicated to. I am torn between basing a roleplay in a game called FeralHeart, but for now this site is a physical information hub. I also have a Wattpad, though no stories are actually published. All the information is tucked away in drafts.

6. Were you an active player in your paracosm, or were you a passive observer on what the characters there did? If you were active, what were you like there?
Both? If that makes sense. At times, when I am there, the characters all see me. They let me pet them and fix their ailments (like tightening bandages or combing their feathers). Other times, the characters do not see me. I think it depends on my mood, for example, when I am sad, they will all come up to me and lay near me. If I am happy or daydreaming, they might look at me and express that they are also happy to see me and wish me well, but that is rare. Depends where I am, school, home, outdoors, sleeping do they interact with me differently.

7. Did you ever tell anyone about your paracosm? How do you feel about having one? i.e., was it a big secret that you were guilty about, or were you open about sharing it with others?
I used to be ashamed of it, because I would speak of it to a therapist and they would say I was borderline schizoprenic or have mild psychotic behaviors. When I talk about it to my parents, close friends, and even my boyfriend, they think it is fascinating that I am able to conjour up such a thing! I incorporate it into my art and poetry, and they are very proud of me. Few people actually know about it's true form, as it isn't simply a "happy place." To me, it is a very real world. If I could invite special people into it, I would!

8. Did you create your paracosm alone, or with siblings/ close friends?
I created it alone, though inspiring some characters by my friends/family.

9. How did you play in your world, (by writing, by daydreaming, at night before you fell asleep, etc.)
All of the above? Hehe. I write about it, I daydream about it, I draw it (best that I can hehe), and of course dream about it.

10. Were you ever deluded as to the reality of your paracosm, (believed it was a real place you traveled, delusions of godhood, etc.)
Not entirely. Though, the characters I created for my boyfriend and I are the reigning Gods. There are other Gods who work alongside them. I don't think anything of it, since to me they are just branches of myself. I know I am a human being, not a God. If that makes sense? I feel like I keep saying that, haha. You could think of it as your D&D character is pretty overpowered, yet you know there are players that are stronger than you and ones who are below your power level so you don't show off.

11. Has your paracosm played an important role in your creative life? How?
Absolutely! It definitely keeps me drawing, dreaming, and writing. ^^;; At times, I loose track of my thoughts during the day when I speak about them to my boyfriend or my mother.

12. Did you know about paracosms before now? How did you learn about them?
Never knew there was a word for it! Just learned about it now, hehe.

13. Did you/do you know anyone else who has/had a paracosm? How did you meet? How did you end up sharing information about your paracosms?
Yes, but our friendship was not a strong one and we fell apart after a couple of years. I never shared my information, though it was only beginning and puberty was ensuing. It was a toxic friendship, so I'd rather not speak more of it.

1. Do you now/ did you ever have a paracosm?
Yes, multiple ones.

2. If you no longer maintain your paracosm, why did you stop?
I tend to have a few at any one time, but will drop some after a number of years, mostly due to exploring them as far as I could and needed something fresh.

3. About what age were you when you began worldplay? About what age were you when you stopped, if you have?
Very young, probably age 5 or so. I enjoyed imagining things more than reality, because worlds created from imagination are a lot more tailored to yourself and focus on your interests.

4. Was there a triggering event that caused you to start a paracosm, or was it just something you always sort of did?
Nothing that I can remember. I had a very nice childhood overall.

5. What is/was your paracosm like? Did it have a name? What was the setting like, and who were the characters? Was there a storyline? Please share whatever you feel comfortable sharing.
Most of them are very natural, so a lot of forests, fields, rivers, lakes etc. and pre-technology (or at least, limited technology). I used a few for writing stories, so I probably wouldn't talk about those so much. They don't have names though and the characters tended to be very 'minimal' (i.e. not having faces because I find it hard to visualise those). The storylines vary wildly, so sometimes might be fantasy or move into scifi/horror at times. They're not realistic though, and not gritty or anything.

6. Were you an active player in your paracosm, or were you a passive observer on what the characters there did? If you were active, what were you like there?
I could be sometimes, mostly when I was younger (up to around my mid-teens). I would mostly interact with the other characters and do adventuring. These days, I'm more an observer.

7. Did you ever tell anyone about your paracosm? How do you feel about having one? i.e., was it a big secret that you were guilty about, or were you open about sharing it with others?
I never talked about them when I was younger because I didn't feel like it was something I needed to share. I talk about them to an extent now because of using them in writing and I tend to ask for feedback.

8. Did you create your paracosm alone, or with siblings/ close friends?
On my own. Any imaginary games I played with others were generally simple and not as involved.

9. How did you play in your world, (by writing, by daydreaming, at night before you fell asleep, etc.)
I used to mostly just daydream, but nowadays I mostly write them.

10. Were you ever deluded as to the reality of your paracosm, (believed it was a real place you traveled, delusions of godhood, etc.)
No, I was always aware it was taking place in my head and the limitations of that. But I generally did prefer them to the real world.

11. Has your paracosm played an important role in your creative life? How?
Yes, I write stories a lot these days.

12. Did you know about paracosms before now? How did you learn about them?
No, I hadn't heard the term used before. I first heard it here.

13. Did you/do you know anyone else who has/had a paracosm? How did you meet? How did you end up sharing information about your paracosms?
I'm not aware of other people with them, but I haven't asked.

Re: Imaginary worlds in your mind? (Paracosms)

Post by tine5 »

1. Do you now/ did you ever have a paracosm?
I did and still kind of do.

2. If you no longer maintain your paracosm, why did you stop?
I tended to just forget them or a new one would appear and take over, it was never conscious!

3. About what age were you when you began worldplay? About what age were you when you stopped, if you have?
I'm not sure how young, but very young - I never stopped and hope to keep my imagination active for my whole life (I'm actually scared of losing it as I get older).

4. Was there a triggering event that caused you to start a paracosm, or was it just something you always sort of did?
Probably boredom or school?

5. What is/was your paracosm like? Did it have a name? What was the setting like, and who were the characters? Was there a storyline? Please share whatever you feel comfortable sharing.
Battles, adventuring, my own space that was very natural and wild. It was basically things I wanted in real life as a kid (and still kind of do).
I don't think there was ever any coherent story, but more random things I did and results of that.

6. Were you an active player in your paracosm, or were you a passive observer on what the characters there did? If you were active, what were you like there?
It was kind of dream-like, so sometimes active, sometimes passive! I was me but in that world, not anyone different.

7. Did you ever tell anyone about your paracosm? How do you feel about having one? i.e., was it a big secret that you were guilty about, or were you open about sharing it with others?
No, but they were mine and I didn't want to share.

8. Did you create your paracosm alone, or with siblings/ close friends?
Alone, but used my imagination in other ways with people i.e. games and art.

9. How did you play in your world, (by writing, by daydreaming, at night before you fell asleep, etc.)
Daydream, write, drew, sometimes even acting it out.

10. Were you ever deluded as to the reality of your paracosm, (believed it was a real place you traveled, delusions of godhood, etc.)
No, but enjoyed them more than life a lot!

11. Has your paracosm played an important role in your creative life? How?
I think so, it helped me cope with a lot of problems and I use going into an imaginary space as almost-meditation when really stressed.

12. Did you know about paracosms before now? How did you learn about them?
I had to google it!

13. Did you/do you know anyone else who has/had a paracosm? How did you meet? How did you end up sharing information about your paracosms?
Yes, but never shared the information really in a direct way, just hints.

1. Do you now/ did you ever have a paracosm?

I have had them for years when I couldn't get to sleep one day as a kid and my mum told me to imagine a story in my head. Since then I use paracosms to get to sleep and to escape my feelings haha
2. If you no longer maintain your paracosm, why did you stop?
N/A

3. About what age were you when you began worldplay? About what age were you when you stopped, if you have?
Around 5 or 6? I haven't stopped!

4. Was there a triggering event that caused you to start a paracosm, or was it just something you always sort of did?
Just as I said before, I couldn't get to sleep. Luckily not due to any trauma!

5. What is/was your paracosm like? Did it have a name? What was the setting like, and who were the characters? Was there a storyline? Please share whatever you feel comfortable sharing.
Well god knows if anyone else has this but I have sooo many! A lot of them are based in the worlds of different fandoms so I can input myself into their world, or I have my own world with my own characters based in a fantasy setting. I use the main character as an OC and I'm currently writing the storyline into a book.

6. Were you an active player in your paracosm, or were you a passive observer on what the characters there did? If you were active, what were you like there?

Active player all the time! I'm always a main character because I just need to be active in a completely different setting
7. Did you ever tell anyone about your paracosm? How do you feel about having one? i.e., was it a big secret that you were guilty about, or were you open about sharing it with others?
My mum knows and she has a world as well, as she is the one who introduced me to it. Nobody else knows! I'm not embarrassed to tell, its just not important to anyone else

8. Did you create your paracosm alone, or with siblings/ close friends?

Alone
9. How did you play in your world, (by writing, by daydreaming, at night before you fell asleep, etc.)

I will write sometimes, other times I just daydream on the bus, in college, in my room, and at night before I sleep! i play in my worlds as often as I can!
10. Were you ever deluded as to the reality of your paracosm, (believed it was a real place you traveled, delusions of godhood, etc.)

Yeah, I mix reality up a lot. I also have really bad memory, Its sort of like Im developing dementia early because of how confused I get.
11. Has your paracosm played an important role in your creative life? How?

Yes! My original character who Ive had for 8 years is the character I used to represent me in my first paracosm, and Im writing a book at the moment. I also used to write a lot of fanfictions based off of my paracosms of different fandoms.
12. Did you know about paracosms before now? How did you learn about them?

I didn't know the term and I didn't know anyone else was creative enough or cool enough to do it haha
13. Did you/do you know anyone else who has/had a paracosm? How did you meet? How did you end up sharing information about your paracosms?
Sadly, I know no-one.
