It's honestly what I thought I'd get since I know myself pretty well.
I do think that being labeled a "Diplomat" is slightly wrong, but perhaps it's just because I've seen other diplomats before me and I've not liked the way they carry out things.
It's certainly interesting to view the results of others, and I think it's a nice way to get to know people

I think the INFJ gets the "diplomat" label because we tend to be able to see both sides to most situations, and can mediate when we feel it's necessary. We also tend to be very diplomatic in our approach to people--we're usually pretty tactful and have a way of smoothing things over without being false or overly harsh (usually ... we can be pretty brutal if we want to be).

I'm curious if anyone in this thread has done the Discovery Insights test (I haven't found an online version of it, so maybe through school or work), and if so, what you got?

For me, I think INFP is accurate to some degree. While I guess I can creative and idealistic, I'm not all that into helping other people, y'know? And I don't think I do feelings as well as they say I do.

It summed me up surprisingly well, and I take the test about once every year, as a person can change a lot in a year. This test tells me things I often don't fully realize about myself, but are absolutely true. Always do retests a year or two later.

I really was expecting something else! After some ~drama~ that happened like a year ago, I haven't been spending much time socializing IRL compared to what I used to do... but I'm not actually introverted, just acting a little wary of people. I guess I was answering the questions more true to form than I actually am right now.
I think the "Thinking versus ~feeling~" questions are really dumb. When you make logical decisions, the way actions will make people (including yourself) feel is a very real and concrete factor. Generally, people who believe otherwise make the kind of "logical" decisions that just make things worse down the road!
What IS the tactics section supposed to represent, exactly? The number of irons you have in the fire, I guess. (...does this make me Vriska???)
And of course, Identity. Why thank you, dubiously useful personality test, yes I do have an anxiety disorder. How kind of you for telling me it's not in my ~nature~ to feel confident. This isn't something that could dramatically change in just a few months at all!

INFP-T. I would only get INTP in the past but now I seem to be getting INFP every time I take the test. It's interesting to note that maybe that means I've changed, more than I thought I could.

Edit: There seems to be a lot of INFPs here at magistream. I guess that's the type that this site most attracts, considering the fantasy aspect of it.
