I'm spheksophobic, afraid of wasps. I'm terrified of the things. I also have a mild fear of heights.

Atychiphobia– Fear of failure. I'm truly not sure when I developed this fear; however, I believe that I've been haunted by this for my entire life. It never helped me excel, but rather crippled me. I'm too scared to fail so I simply don't try.

I have since a pretty early age Anemophobia, which as funny as it is in the eyes of my family is fear of wind... which is not funny in my option.

I have no clue what had triggered it for the first time or why it is persisting as I have no problem with storms when the sky is black, lightning flashes, thunder rolls as rain falls down. I even tended in my university years to go out on walks in the rain when there was no wind, not minding the darkness or deserted streets.

Though at least when the problem comes up I start with the Emotional aspect of having the desire to flee if I should be outside or need to go outside (getting home from work).

After that the other emotional and psychological aspects come up slowly before it becomes physical.

I'm actually a bit lucky to have avoided the Mental level of this...
But the snow is blood stained,
You are the God of Death,
The Angel turns in to a Demon.

I love you even if your claws drip from blood,
Your smile is the one of a Demon on the face of an Angel

It is true...
Beauty is the Mask of Death...

I have a pretty bad case of Athazagoraphobia, the fear of being forgotten or ignored, as well as the Fear Of being abandoned. It gets to the point where I start having nightmare and loss of sleep from it, and I end up becoming too pushy and forceful with my friends and family, to try and do things with them
Sadly.... i tend to end up being forgotten about anyways, and I’ve had some really bad experiences which has just made everything worse.
But on the upside though, I have a small handful of friends, plus my girlfriend, who know i suffer from this and go above and beyond to help me. Especially when shit happens and i end up being forgotten about.....

I have thanatophobia (also known as death anxiety) and needlephobia, although the first one has been getting better thanks to therapy. I don't know where my thanatophobia came from but I know why I have needlephobia. I remember when I was still in preschool I went with my mum to have my blood taken but the nurse couldn't locate my vein so she repeatedly stabbed me with the needle and moved it around inside my arm, I remember I was so traumatised I somehow managed to run out of the room, since then I've been deathly afraid of syringes and injections. There've been multiple accidents when I had to have my blood tested because of my hormonal illness but I was so terrified that I kicked and screamed, once I even kicked somebody. Vaccines are better than taking blood but they're still bad, my mum had to hold me in place when I was 15 when I cried because I was getting a shot, but hey at least doctors got some laugh out of it. Lately, it's been getting better, probably partly thanks to the fact I ended up in a hospital last year and was forced to have my blood took, kind of like a shock therapy you know? Face your fears straight on. Now I am still afraid to the point that even thinking about needles makes me feel weak and when I have my blood taken I often get anxiety attacks, but I no longer cry or scream or kick. Honestly, I feel bad for any doctor or nurse that had to take my blood or give me shots lmao

one of my more "common" phobias is hormephobia, otherwise known as the fear of electrical shock. it is something i have had my entire life, and i don't really understand it. i always get nervous when touching metal since it tends to give off a static shock, so i have developed this weird and kind of embarrassing habit of touching the metal with my shoulder or elbow first, or using something to shield my hand. i get extremely nervous around electrical wires and i refuse to let them touch me. i try to avoid plugging things in.

i also have deeper fears, particularly being forgotten and alone, as well as being a failure and disappointing my family. those are a little more self-explanatory...lol

I have a really bad phobia of living things being inside of other living things. I don't know how else to explain it because it's not a phobia of just parasites (parasitophobia). I am literally afraid of any living creature being inside another creature. I can barely stand being near a pregnant person because of the baby growing inside their body. It freaks me out so much, just thinking about it gives me shivers. I would rather die than get pregnant myself (I'm afab). This fear also includes bugs crawling inside of me. I actually like most bugs, I think they are awesome and interesting, but if there is a bug that is the right size to crawl into my ear or something and if they are fast, I can't handle having it on me. I will freak out. I also can't have small insects inside my bedroom. If there is a spider in my room, especially on my ceiling, someone has to come in and get it out or kill it. I have no idea if there is a name for this phobia but if there is it would make explaining it to people much easier.

Oh I forgot to mention I had a fear of needles up to a few years ago. I still absolutely hate getting shots and injections but I don't cry and tremble anymore which is great because I have monthly injections now. It's an intramuscular injection too, so the needle is maybe 3 inches long. I do the injection into my thigh and I do it by myself which is stressful. It's not too bad tho I do get light headed, dizzy and nauseous afterwards because of the anxiety it makes me have.

@transgerine Honestly I feel the same way about pregnancy, though it's mostly because I have fear of pregnancy and childbirth in general. Being around pregnant people creeps me out but it only makes me uncomfortable, same with seeing childbirth, but when it comes to myself I can't even think about being pregnant because it scares me to death. I actually used to have nightmares about it. One time I thought I was pregnant (I am a virgin but I was like 14 and stupid af so don't even ask) and I had a full-blown panic attack. Honestly, I'd rather commit suicide than go through pregnancy, the worst part is abortion is illegal in where I live so if I ever become pregnant by accident it'd be a mess, I would honestly rather die. The thought of a child growing inside me creeps me out to no end.

@SQUIP same, I would rather stab myself to death then be pregnant. Just thinking about it is enough to disturb me. Although, thankfully, abortions are legal where I live so if I ever do accidentally get pregnant (tho I seriously doubt it since I am asexual), I can get an abortion asap.
