SAME! I wake up in a cold sweat from nightmares about getting chased by dinosaurs. Yet on the other hand I am largely fascinated by them.

I think fears and phobias are a bit different. I'm afraid of tornados yet love to watch the destruction they cause, I'm terrified of bugs or anything that can fly in my face yet at the same time I want them to liveand actively free them, and dead fish/bugs skeeve me out.

I have discovered recently that I do most likely have trypophobia which is the fear of holes. Strange right? Mine seems to manifest in the form of holes in the skin, the smaller the more intense my reaction is. I implore you all not to look it up on google, at least not with image search on because some of the first images can actually trigger trypophobia (pics of lotus fruit and holes in skin). That's pretty much how I found out I had it and I wasn't right for the whole rest of the day.

I am TERRIFIED of vomit. like if i hear, see or smell it, i get so scared that i shut dwn mentally, curl up, put my hands over my ears, and hum.
its a bodily function! i SHOULDNT be afraid of it. but i so totally am.
im also afraid of falling. even if its just like, slipping out of my chair. falling just scares the crud out of me

I have the weirdest phobia ever, in my opinion. It is strange and laughable, but hear me out.

I am terrified of flies.

Yup, normal little houseflies.
It all started when I was a kid and I watched the Spongebob episode, "Wormy". Those scenes with the compound eyes scarred me for life. That is the main aspect of them I'm scared of, but I have more. Flies are downright nasty and can even be hazardous to your health. They love manure, so they are always spreading nasty germs that could make you really sick. There are some types of flies such as the horsefly that suck blood. Some like the Flesh Fly actually eat decaying meat and lay their eggs on animals' open wounds. Plus, they excrete and vomit multiple times every minute. Also, they are extremely annoying. When a fly is flying next to me, I only feel annoyed. If it stays around for a few minutes and doesn't go anywhere, I start getting scared. I am worried that if I swat at it, it will get angry and start flying around me to further my panic.
So yeah, I'm scared of flies.

My list is basically endless. A few are Jellyfish, heights, large dogs, wasps(but for some reason I love bees), tight spaces, and needles. Especially needles. THe last time I had to get a shot, they literally needed four people to hold me down and I can usually get beat up by my sister.

im afraid of objects like the inside of bread or string cheese that remind me of vessals in our bodies

i have a phobia of really big insects because whenever I see a big a bug i immediately leave the room because i feel like it is going to fall on my face and kill me then they will eat my insides

I don't want to be controlled. if i see anyone "superior" to me i freak out.

I haven't got a phobia - plenty of things i'm scared of, but nothing particularly irrational. I used to work with someone who had a phobia about buttons though - apparently it is quite common. I found out about her phobia when I'd put a jacket on the back of a chair, and found her kneeling on the floor to use a computer rather than sit on the chair and risk going near the buttons. Her mother (who I met once, and was a real piece of work) used to make her sort the button box as a child as a punishment, knowing full well it would freak her out.

I'm also afraid of falling down stairs.
