I have severe anxiety, to the point where I worry about almost anything at any point. It doesn't exactly help that I have other mental illnesses that mixes with my anxiety. It's like a gigantic ice cream with 5 different types of topping. It's very unnerving

Yep. Social anxiety. To the point where I subconsciously avoid the aisles with people (library, supermarket, etc.) and act like a total duck whenever I have to approach a cashier *smacks stuff onto counter and quietly waits for the receipt

I know this is a lil old but I rarely talk. I have PTSD so anxiety is a part of my life. For those that do not know Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder or PTSD is a disorder that develops in some people who have experienced a shocking, scary, or dangerous event. Fear triggers many split-second changes in the body to help defend against danger or to avoid it. This “fight-or-flight” response is a typical reaction meant to protect a person from harm. Nearly everyone will experience a range of reactions after trauma, yet most people recover from initial symptoms naturally. Those who continue to experience problems may be diagnosed with PTSD. People who have PTSD may feel stressed or frightened even when they are not in danger.
Mine is due to a childhood trauma. We won't get into that. Something that helps me is petting my dog. Of course my issues are bad enough she is a trained service animal but she will keep people away and try to snap me out of it. Now I just wish others understood as well as my sister.

Yes, I do. Mine is also related to PTSD, as is my depression. I have good days and bad days, though unfortunately mostly bad. I don't cope very well, to be honest, I'm still learning how. It's been debilitating and I've been seeking treatment for years. Best wishes to anyone reading this, you aren't alone.

I sufffer from it even low i work in a cafe i mainly stay at home and never answer the phone I am also very nervous when I am out i am also really nervous and think what people must be thinking when they see me its bad sometimes i just wont to cry i am terrible in group

yeah. sometimes i just get it for no reason. music helps me to cope and so do my animals and also talking about it. sometimes though i like to pretend i'm under a small shell where no one can find me or hurt me and it actually makes me feel a lot better, as weird as it may sound.

Yes, Anxiety and Depression rolled up into one horrible package, the fuckers are linked to each other! Oh the joys. I don't cope with it that well usually, but if I do find myself having a anxiety attack i'll go downstairs and make myself a nice tea. It's helped me many times before, I do take a anti depressant and anti anxiety duo pack but I find that it really doesn't help with the constant low level feeling that this one moment of peace will come crashing down around me and make me miserable. I'm always on guard waiting for the other shoe to drop, but distractions for the brain help a lot. I've had trust issues for a long time so for me talking about what makes me anxious only makes me more stressed as i'm so scared they won't understand and it's a big mess, so I do puzzles, Read, anything that will take hold of my brain and make it focus all it's attention on that until the worst of it is over. Then I can look at what upset me with a clear head and fix it! taking breaks and distracting my mind from the situation that is causing my anxiety is the best way for me to calm down personally. It probably doesn't help that every professional thinks i'm on the spectrum and that comes with it's own problems. But i'm getting help and eventually i will get better. I'll be able to manage myself and actually live instead of whatever this thing i'm doing right now is called.

I've finally been getting treatment for my anxiety but I'm not sure if it's gonna work.... which is making me anxious hahaha. It feels like a vicious cycle honestly.

Climate change...yk...my friend and I always talk abouþ it... I think it's one of the importants matters in the world. It's sad how we all destroy the Earth...so many Animals are dead because of us.

I have anxiety and depression. A LOT of things make me insanely anxious. New things,being late, social situations, surprise visitors, phone calls, politics, etc.
I have a therapist that helps me a ton. I see him once a month and he's really good at getting me to vent and then backing up and figuring out how to deal with it. I was on medication until I got pregnant so right now it's just therapy. I try to see my friends as well since a little bit of hanging out seems to help me relax. Though if it goes on too long, I get stressed and anxious and then it's counterproductive. I just have to find a little balance.
