Creepy, we're very similar... :: finds the bra she just flung off and locates tag::
I also tend to leave the hooks closed and pull it on over my head, like a shirt.
1. What size are you? 48C - VERY difficult to find bras in my size, they assume if we're that big around, we simply MUST be DD.
2. Have you found any good styles or brands? Kind of.
3. If so, what style of brand was it? I tend to have good luck with Just My Size
4. Pros/Cons? Affordable. At least, cheaper than many. I can usually get them for about $20 each, give or take, depending on sales. They seem to last well enough, and when I find a style I like, if one store only has one, I can usually find them at another store, or, they're easy enough for the stores to order. Con? When it's time to buy more, they've discontinued that style that I liked! They don't generally come in colors, but I only ever buy white, so that's not really a con for me. They tend to be more functional than pretty. Since I'm not trying to impress anyone, I like them just fine. They hold me up, and don't cut into my collarbone or dig into my back, and they don't leave obvious little rumples under my shirt.
5. Would you recommend it to friend or family member? Yeah. I would.
Rating: 1 (being horrible) - 5 (being the best bra in the world!) 4 I guess. They're not OMG AMAZING, but they do what I need them to.
A couple of tips for bras:
Get several and don't wear the same one every day. Let the elastic rest for at least a day in between. They also don't need washed as often if they get switched out. When they do get washed, use the cold water, delicate cycle with a light detergent. If you use liquid fabric softener, don't tumble dry. If you use dryer sheets, only tumble on low for about 20 minutes- with the other laundry, and then take it out to line dry the rest of the way. This also helps the elastic last longer. If you have issues with itchy bras, try NOT using liquid fabric softener, or look for cotton with out lacey bits.
Hawke's IRL fiance, Lunaroki, suffered a massive stroke and died on Tuesday, March 31st, 2015.
Hawke needs to concentrate on other things, and is leaving MS permanently.
Thank you all for many fun years.
