I think that in a lot of cases the girls are certainly overdoing it.
I mean, I watched a non-porn movie a while ago where during a relatively loud sex scene it sounded considerably more believable than in any porn flick I've checked out.

That said, there are phases where I go looking for it, mostly as means of satisfying curiousity about, well, various things, not so much to get off.
I had a discussion with a guy who, when I said that I prefer well-written erotica over video, said about how the problem is that a lot of porn is shot in such bright light that it looks like everybody's doing it on a surgical table, i.e., that it often leaves too little up to the imagination to be interesting.

Yeah, I'm sure the issue is more how it's produced than anything else. I'm just not motivated enough to find something decent.

On another note, I've been having some interesting times with... I'm not exactly sure what they're called, actually, but it's like a cross between a choose-your-own-adventure and an RPG, but with sex. I'm curious as to if anyone else has encountered these and your thoughts on them.

I find that a large number of people who aren't interested or less interested in watching porn seem to be put off because they find it fake, whether too scripted, the actors actually not feeling anything, or physical enhancements, etc.

Now, I don't watch straight sex porn and by that I mean porn involving males and females and them actually having sex. All the porn I watch caters to my preferences for just BDSM and just females. So I don't actually know the answer to this. But is it that people just aren't looking hard enough? Because there is a ton of porn available on the internet. All of it in that particular genre can't suck (No pun intended xD).

Sometime when I have more time and the ability to download porn again, I might go looking for straight/hardcore porn that is more real. I can totally understand people being turned off and uninterested if the actors actually aren't into it. It's why I'm so glad the porn I watch is completely real.

Regarding noise levels:
My partner is pretty much silent too, apart from some changes in breathing and when he finishes. Sometimes he makes the same "That feels nice, you should keep doing that" noises that he makes when I am rubbing his back or something xD In his experience, most women (including myself) don't get how loud they are. I hope we aren't disturbing my neighbours a ton
